{Potential} New Promo Online with SHOPNOW

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Silver Lining (in this post), who shared the following: "Extra 30% is coming! SHOPNOW for 30% off sale till 6/21... it's not working on the site yet but I saw it out on Google's main page this morning so I imagine soon. Keep an eye out, JCA's. ".

I hope J.Crew will soon be offering customers to take an additional 30% off all sale items (no min) with promo code SHOPNOW. This offer expires June 21, 2012.

NOTE: I just tried the code right now to see if it would work. I did not get 30% off my sale items. However, I did get free shipping for the items in my cart. So not really sure what is going on, but worth a try! :)

NOTE 2: I just used a previous promotion's image above of the code SHOPNOW. This does not mean the Summer Sale will be Final online. Apologies on any confusion. :)

Will you be checking out the Sale section? Are there any items you are hoping to see or to get? Is code SHOPNOW working for you? If so, please share! :)

  1. I tried and it didn't work at all, no free shipping either. Alexis - did you have over $175 in your cart?

    1. They usually dump carts at the start if promos so take a screen shot the night before.

    2. How does one "take a screen shot"? TIA. And is it different if you have a Mac?

      Delete
    3. I have a plug in that is a screen shot maker and saves ping files. I think there is a print screen key on keyboards but I'm clueless to that. Anyone?

      Delete
    4. Mac screenshot: command + shift + 3. It will save as a png file on your desktop.

    5. thx Miss JR!!

    6. For PC users, use the PrtScn key in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard to copy the screen shot image. Then open Paint and hit Ctrl + V to paste the screen shot.

      Hope this helps!

  7. Thanks! Ok, guess I be checking Sunday night before I go to bed and getting up REALLY early Monday cause I'm on the west coast. I have my cart all full and ready!!

  8. Stacking my cart now too! :) Did anyone notice the Azalea necklace online was $80 yesterday (on sale) and today it's $98 (still on sale)? A store associate even confirmed the $80 online price, as I was looking to get it 30% off in the store last night (but they were sold out so offered to order it for me)...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Amy....The azalea necklace was $79.99 in my store with an additional 30% off. gosh I'd have the store get it for me!

    1. I'll call your store, if you wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks!

    2. Allison, they let me order it through the red phone just now, at $79.99 + 30% off, but only the blue was this price. I like it just as well as the flame, so I went with it! Good luck!

  10. i ordered a few tippi linen sweaters which are now all on sale. i chatted to get measurements and they actually offered to give me the 30% off now. they said to put my order thru and they'll adjust it once it ships. not bad! this has never happened before, lol. crossing my fingers!

    1. You are so lucky! I just chatted with them and the customer service rep was just like "this is not a valid code". J.Crew's customer service appears to be very hit and miss with more misses than hits for me.

    2. yeah, that what i usually get. this is one of the only times when i've had any luck!

  11. No free ship, no discount. Hmmmmm.

  12. does anyone know if the hilary dress is in stores, and if so, how much it is?

  13. AllisonFay and Amy....One of my stores had one azalea necklace in blue on sale. But when I went back a couple days later it was gone.

  14. Note it says "30% off FINAL SALE"-does that mean final sale is back, starting on Monday!?!?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well if it's true and final sale is back I won't be shopping for a long time maybe I need to check out some swimming suits this morning. that would be a shame too because I was looking at some pencil skirts but I have not seen them in person and would not buy them final sale but I would try them with 30 percent off

  16. Hopefully J.Crew won't bring back Final Sale until the end of this month like they did last year. Anything is possible though, and I wouldn't be surprised if they do bring it back earlier since they seem to love it so much.

OT: Net-A-Porter has some new J.Crew additions this week. Details in this post.

  17. I called yesterday and asked about the sale because I've been looking at a couple of online only items which of course I have never seen or tried on. I told the SA I was considering ordering them that day because of the upcoming Final Sale on Monday . She looked in her information and she told me the sale would not be final sale. BUT....please don't quote me. As you all know, the information given is often not correct or confirmed. But I'm so hoping it's not final sale!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Quick Note, I just used a previous promotion's image above of the code SHOPNOW. This does not mean the Summer Sale will be Final online. Apologies on any confusion. :)

  19. Hello! Does anyone own the Tulle Retro Hipster? How does the sizing run on this item? Or how is the sizing in general with JCrew bottoms? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Did online chat while I was filling up my shopping cart with sale items. The online SA
confirmed the 30% off sale tomorrow but said she did not have information about whether it will be final sale or not.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hey guys, it's super strange but I spoke with someone at a store and they said that the 30% is a scam...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. How could something that doesn't exist yet be a scam?

      Delete
    2. And if it does exist, then it surely isn't a scam :)

      Delete
  22. PoChi, I spoke with my personal shopper this morning and she confimred that 30% will begin tomorrow. She also told me that additional items have been added or will be added. I just noticed that some items that weren't there this morning, have popped up.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Scams AND suspense. This day is awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  24. StrayCat- no need to get up early on monday morning unless you are seeking some pop-backs (and let's face it, aren't we all?) The sale should start around 9pm PST on sunday night, meaning that you can shop before bed and sleep with a smile on your face knowing that some new lovelies will be coming your way.

  25. West Coast Crew&#39:ner.....For once being a west coaster works in our favor! I always feel like we're the last to be invited to the party! I've got a STUPID amount of things in my cart, 2 are online only (so let's hope it's not final sale) and 2 things I JUST bought that I'd like to get a little cheaper. So I can spend the differance on more Crew. Hee! Happy hunting and hoping we all get some wonderful goodies!

    1. straycat, I have returned a coat marked 'final sale' before. Since I was not able to try the item on before purchasing, they allowed me to return with no problem.

    1. I just got the Luxe tortoise side-ring bikini in a small and it fits well. I wear a 4 or 6 in J. Crew skirts and pants. So, I think they are true to size. I was tempted to size up but was glad that I did not.

      Delete
    2. Thanks for the info, I was nervous about ordering a size up. I'll stick with my usual size :)

      Delete
    3. I haven't tried that particular botton, but I'm a size 6 in pencil skirts, size 4 in cafe capris, and have been a size Small in the J. Crew bottoms I've tried (Brief & Bikini styles).

  28. Momoberry, last year I order 3 swimsuits (4 bikini separates and 1 one-piece). Not a single one fit the same. In one top, I wore a M (I'm a 36C) and in another a XL. In bottoms, I needed a S in one and a L in another. It was insane! I didn't even risk it this year, though with the free ship/free returns, I might.

    1. Wow that is some crazy sizing! I'm hoping the promo isn't Final Sale because I certainly don't want to keep a suit that doesn't fit. Thank you for the info :)

  29. I just used the "chat" feature on the J.Crew website, and was informed that the sale wouldn't start until 6/18...

  30. Yes! I needed to get some new shorts and I am so excited about this!

  36. Isn't it still cheaper to buy the anchors away blouse and tessa top in store? :/

    ReplyDelete
  37. Works on non-traditional sale items not ending in .99, such as retail promo items (like Mona leather pumps 168.00-->117.60) and Factory items (printed pencil skirt 59.50--> 41.65) as well!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Do we know if the 30% off makes the sale items Final Sale?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Just checked out, no mention of final sale! Whoo hoo!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Slightly OT, but if anyone was considering the whisper gauze maxi skirt in stripe (as I was), look closely at the small thumbnails - it seems the skirt is much more see-thru than it appears in the larger images. Don't know if it's just my computer screen or intentionally changed, but I know that made my decision easier :/

  41. Ritika.....I just place a big order and no where does it say Final Sale. Not when I checked out or on my confirmation email. I was also told by Customer Service on Saturday that it was not Final Sale.

    ReplyDelete
  42. OMG. I ordered earlier tonight and called and they said they would credit me the 30%. THANK YOU

  43. St. Germain.....That's fantastic!

  44. Has anybody else noticed they jacked up the factory merchandise prices ! I placed an order right at 12 am before they got the chance to do so and was able to get the lower price minus code so cheap jcrew!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes!!! I was on the site around 5:30am & the main page showed one price but when you clicked on the item the price was much higher. I had other items in my cart so I checked out but took screenshots & hopefully I can get the price adjusted. If not... return!

    2. Same thing happened to me. I had a maxi dress in my cart for $39.99 last night (and the webpage was still "unrefreshed"); when I refreshed the screen, the price jumped to $54.50. Sort of a bait and switch, you know? I agree that it is bad behavior on jcrew's part and they seem dishonest doing that.

  45. It's Monday morning and I got all of the items in my cart at 30% off sale price. I got a few of the vintage crew t-shirts that were sold out at the store. I love those the vintage t! (not the v-necks, though, cut too low for me). Thanks for saving me money with your post. I noticed it on Saturday, filled my cart, and waited.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Just a note.....my cart was not dumped before the sale started. I couldn't understand why they would do that and why they would care.....I'm glad they didn't!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yep.....just checked and the factory sweater I ordered last night is $4.00 more this morning. I guess they don't have as much leeway with factory items.
