J.Crew has a nice update to their Summer Sale section online (click here) this morning. Lots of merchandise for everyone (1140+ for Women and 300+ for Men). Moreover, it looks like several new pieces made it to sale along with some new price reductions. Yey!
Another reminder that brick & mortar (B&M) stores are offering an additional 30% off sale. However, this does make any and all purchases final sale. But as many of you have reported, the sale prices in stores are lower than online. So with the additional percent off, prices are amazing!

I was able to get some great deals yesterday at the B&M store at the Derby Street Shops in Hingham, Mass. The store was offering 30% off sale prices, and I was able to use my student ID for an additional 15% off. I purchased the schoolboy chambray blazer ($59.49), linen cable knit cardigan in white (20.82), gondola stripe blouse (17.84), scoopneck blouse in colorblock (29.74), and the scoopneck blouse in anchors (38.67).
ReplyDeleteThey had a great sale selection at this B&M: TONS of anchor blouses, pencil skirts, dresses, cable knit cardigans, shoes, blouses. Overall I was very impressed! The staff there is also always very helpful.
I am desperately seeking the chambray schoolboy in size 4 - do you happen to remember if it was at your store?

DeleteWe went to the Burlington MA store and the sale sections were tiny in womens, mens and kids. I was happy that the SA arranged for 30% off a skirt in a size that the store didn't have - she ordered it from the web site for me. Good service!

I remembered this when I saw it in-store, and since I already have a navy statement necklace and do not need another, I did not try and so cannot comment on its twistiness. I will second everyone's opinion that it is a very pretty necklace...

I see that the garment dyed linen Tippi's were marked down today. I just bought one at full price in-store yesteday. Does anyone know if it went on sale in B&M as well? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the sale section in Copley (Boston) was huge last night. Nothing that I had to have but I was really suprised that it took up 3 walls and two tables. It was way smaller last week. They had tons and tons of shoes!
The Garden state plaza store (NJ) had them on sale for $39.99. Hope this helps!

I think someone asked in a previous post about a super deal on a navy pencil skirt. It's actually an "old" superfine cotton suiting rather than a #2. It scans at $29.99 b4 30% promo. I wanted another in a smaller size - red phone CS offered me the "current" version for $98. I'm looking for a 00.
Got the Schoolboy Blazer in neon pink shipped to me for $55 plus shipping and tax -- ended up being around $78. Had the nicest CS rep help me out! So excited they honored the in store price and ordered from the online warehouse -- HTH anybody else interested!!!

ReplyDeleteDitto. I scored the Azalea in my B&M for $69.99, got the Apricot Mist on Net-A-Porter for $60 something, and now the hunt is on for the Navy. My PS searched and couldn't find one in my size, but if anyone sees one in an 8 or a 10 PLEASE let me know! TIA!

It's worth watching for NAP popbacks though - they have a really good return policy so it's possible one wil come back.
Allison Fay-There was a store in CA that had several 8's in navy in the raindrop lace top. I think it was Pasadena but I'm not 100% sure because I kinda went crazy looking for this top yesterday and called 4 CA stores but they said they had quiet a bit. I'll give all 4 numbers and locations so hopefully this will help, they had them as of late (right before closing) last night.

Thank you so much! I called the Pasadena store and apparently someone already got them. I was able to call CS and get them to do a WWFIFY, but my PS had put a note in my file for me before she went on vacation. Crossing my fingers now!

Yeah it's sold out unfortunately. I keep doing searches for the neon azalea but with no results :( on my WWFIFY earlier they had a size 0 but it was on hold for someone, so disappointing. I'm just trying to keep a WWFIFY going so hopefully it'll show up and hopefully yours will to! I called for the neon azalea in a size 4 regretting not getting it when they told me they had the 4's and 8's and they are all gone too. If these end up on ebay, JCrew is getting a call.

ReplyDeleteBoston Brit - I concur with your assessment of the Copley sale selection - too bad nothing in my size. It looked very tempting but having to deal with the hassle of the red phone convinced me to just walk out.
ReplyDeleteWhen I need anything on sale in my size, I email Kristin Garvey, a personal shopper formerly at J Crew in Cambridgeside but now in J Crew in the Natick Collection. If she can find it, I get it, and if she cannot, she is quick to let me know. Have had many successful transactions with her and she makes everything so easy. Her email is kristin.garvey@jcrew.com.
