Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Some new additions to the 50% section and the extra 15% code Elizabeth shared a few days ago is still working. It's SMPBPV8RR. I got some new t shirts for my 13yo daughter who seems to have suddenly gotten even taller. She can do a womens size XS or S now which makes clothes shopping easier. Also finally grabbed the nordic low top hikers, hope they aren't too big! Two of the liberty cotton bandanas are in the 50% off section but I didn't like either of the colors/patterns. Good price though.

Not much else I'm currently eyeing at JC these days....don't like any of the Spring clothes (yet?) and I bought a lot of new skirts and things last year at the end of Summer so I'll have those for when the weather finally warms up.

  2. Visited today. I was curious about some of the chino blazers and wanted to try the linen blend cargo pants again.
    Notes:
Double-breasted Alfie blazer in lightweight chino Item BF424 runs big. I tried a 00 and it fit, though I’d prob size up to a 2 because I don’t like them so fitted but a 0 would probably be plenty big. I don’t think the mountain white is my best color.

Willa straight-leg lightweight chino pant Item BF410 also seemed to run big on me as the 0 was really big. The cut did nothing for me though. Hit at a weird place on my hips and just felt kind of blah. With the blazer I thought it made a cute look if I could ever find a size that worked.

Willa blazer in lightweight chino Item BG120. I tried a 0 and a 4 and didn’t like the fit. The faded pistachio was not as bad as I expected but i felt it washed me out a bit.

Tie-waist linen-blend cargo pant Item BG122. I want to love these because they are so cute but the 0 is too short and if I wear them low they give me a saggy butt. Sizing up is ok but they are just too loose in the back. I mean they would be fine as a sweatpant alternative and I’ve certainly spent more on less flattering pants but I’m passing for now.

over the weekend I ordered the ribbed cutaway tanks in black, white and gray, a relaxed poplin button down in white (last year’s version because it was in the sale section ) and the red plaid straight leg pants from holiday.

I also realized I have a few shorts and warm weather clothes I haven’t worn much since we barely left the house for two summers. I really could get by with buying nothing…so i feel like whatever I buy I’ll really need to like a lot!

    2. I ordered linen blend cargo pant in the sand color. I've wanted to buy these, but waited because they weren't selling well. I had some rewards to use, so went for it. Hoping they will be a good option for springtime and vacation. Planning to wear with linen tops, tanks and flip flops/sandals.
