  1. I'm not sure this is a "love." It is more of a potentially useful "like." Anyway....

I received the Denim Wrap Jacket (AM829). I ordered XXS, and it fits very well with either a tee or a long-sleeved liberty shirt underneath. I am 5'3", 105 lbs., 34B. I paid $65, and it is now $54.50. Quite honestly, it seems like something I would find at TJMaxx for $19.99. It is unlined and is more of a layering item than a jacket.

The quality is okay but not stellar. The stitching is off in some areas, but that doesn't show up much on this denim stripe. I'm going to try it on again with a liberty shirt, white jeans, and loafers. Since I'm always chilled in A/C (if things ever open up again), it could come in handy.

I might reorder even though the price difference isn't that much. I usually only do that when there is at least a $20 difference since returns are such a pain. In this case, however, I'll reorder to see if the next one has better stitching. I guess that's the silver lining about doing reorders. Sometimes the second one either fits differently or is put together better.

    1. the jacket is $191 on the Canadian site...so thank you for the review. the pic looks like it would be a more "heavier weight " fabric.

    2. @Unknown: Oh my, that's expensive for a jacket like this. The denim is lighter weight than jeans but a little heavier than chambray.

  2. Hoping the pair of cashmere joggers I snagged for $25 this morning ships :-)

  3. I bought the button-front mini skirt in seersucker (L6913) as a popback in December or January, and didn't have a chance to wear it until now when the weather's warm. I bought it to match the seersucker Parke blazer I picked up last summer. Even though I'm 5'1, I got it in my usual bottom size but tall, knowing how ridiculously short some JC skirts can be. It's perfect - hits just above the knee. The button front design is cute, and the side pockets are surprisingly deep. The material is stretchy but not too form-fitting, and very comfortable, even though it sits high on the waist. Last year I bought and returned about 3 other JC seersucker skirts because of fit/length issues, and I'm super happy I lucked out with this popback.

Also side note, I received a No. 2 pencil skirt with a stuck zipper that was final sale last week, and was worried they wouldn't let me return by mail. I emailed them very nice and explained how the zipper was stuck, and to my surprise they're letting me return and without the fee! No begging or cajoling on my part. While they shouldn't be sending out defective merchandise to begin with, I'm glad CS is still being reasonable.

And also grateful they waived the return fees for my big box of multi-order returns today. Even though NYC is entering Phase 1 of the reopening on Monday and should be in Phase 2 by the end of the June 30 window, I don't see how customers will feel safe taking public transit to get to stores yet or how businesses will feel safe reopening while the looting continues at night, which has occurred on blocks where J. Crew has stores (like the Fifth Avenue flagship).
