Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. No reason to visit a store for J. Crew's paltry 20% off cashmere promotion--I'm too busy enjoying the lush, thick, tunic-length cashmere sweater I just received from Garnet Hill's 50% off Cyber Monday promotion. Beautiful color, great quality, and even at half off, truly aligned with the "fewer, better pieces" philosophy I've been trying to embrace this year.

For anyone who received a $XX off of $XXX coupon that is not supposed to be combinable with other promos, keep trying. I got a $25 off $25 coupon in the mail the week before last, and after attempting unsuccessfully to add it on to site-wide promos for a couple of days in a row, I got lucky last Saturday and scored my kiddo a $49.50 pair of slippers that, minus 48% and with $25 off, came to the grand total of $0.81. They shipped and will arrive by the 19th. Here's to a win for the bargain-hunting loss leaders!

    1. I placed an order with Garnet Hill 9 days ago and it still hadn't shipped. I don't understand what's taking so long. When I look at my order, my items are "reserved" for me. Well I hope so, I paid for them! Some day I might even get them.

  2. Wow, I'll have to keep trying. Mine is only $50 off $150 but it won't combine and I was going to throw it away. Also, as of this morning at least, the code CUPOFJO is still stacking for another 15% off the current 50% off. But not sure for how much longer..

  3. I grabbed a pop back of the tie neck sweater in olive this morning. My orders have been shipping quickly and should arrive in time.

@julie My store (Louisville) is notorious for great customer service. Jason is the manager there and he (or any other associate) will happily combine for you if you make a phone order. They’ve done so for other JCAs in the past and this is exactly why they maintain their customer base.

    1. Wow, that is good to know, thanks! Would they think it strange if I called from Michigan to place an order? I've never ordered thru a store before...

    2. @julie not at all! Tell them Meredith C. sent you. They’re having a shopping event this afternoon with some local bloggers so it might be crazy there later on. I believe a few JCAs have called and placed orders there as they’re so customer-oriented (one was for a leather jacket I spotted in the spring for somebody on here).

  4. Well now I’ll have to return the few things I’ve gotten in the past week due to the promo today. Not complaining about better prices just you know.. the PA issue.
Anyone get anything good instead of just rebuying like me?

    1. I'm reluctantly in the repurchasing boat as well. I re-purchased the houndstooth regent blazer since that was still in stock but the few other items I'd purchased are not in stock. I also bought the pointy toe houndstooth booties and I'm done browsing. I'm already annoyed that I have to return the blazer.

  5. i received the "silk" bow neck blouse in bright blue....it is the cheapest grossest fabric. not to mention its already fraying threads at seams. it is not even REMOTELY silk and it was $80 on 50 percent off price. i am horrified. this may be the end of j crew for me.

  6. Visited with my eldest daughter. Left both MADEWELL and Crew empty handed.

Jcrew sale section had no additional percentage ofF and reminded me of the clothing aisle in a cheap discount store. Somewhat unkempt. Multiples of items made of crappy fabric, haphazardly hung, out of season items holding on for dear life.

  7. CUPOFJO promo still working this morning 15% and can be combined with the current Jcrew promo.

    1. Thanks for posting this, I used it last night in combo with GIFTED to grab a popback on a Ratti swim cover-up I’d been stalking since August.

  8. Ordered a pair of high rise leather skinnies from madewell after seeing them on IG. Leather pants have basically become my uniform for almost every occasion and I hope I love these as much as my others. With 25 percent off I didn’t think the price was too bad.

    1. I never consider leather bc I just don’t know how to clean it. Do you dry clean? cleaning and conditioning lotion?

    2. I just spot clean and refresh with a steamer. If they got really dirty Id have to look into other options, but typically I think that spot clean and steamer combo works well.
