Esther placed an order on October 18th, for a pair of cords and the Herringbone Cheshire Jacket (in "Salt Pepper; size 0 in petite). The order arrived to her Canadian address on October 24th, but the shipment only contained the pair of cords. Although she was charged for both items (the jacket and cords), J.Crew forgot to ship the jacket. :(
After talking to J.Crew's customer service, J.Crew informed her that there were no more Herringbone Cheshire Jacket in "Salt Pepper" (size 0 in petite) left. (They even tried a "we-will-find-it" search with no luck.)
Esther believes "that the jacket was accidentally placed into someone else's box and thus, shipped to a customer who did not order the Cheshire". She is hoping that the customer who received her jacket by accident might be a member of this blog. (She is also aware that the chances of her receiving the jacket are slim, but thought it would be worth a try to ask.) :)
So, if you received an extra Herringbone Cheshire Jacket in "Salt Pepper" (petite size 0) in your recent J.Crew shipment that you did not order, would you please contact me at jcrewaficionada@yahoo.com. I will forward your information to Esther. "
