  1. Follow up re Everlane pants. I wanted to replace the curator pants I gave to my daughter, but I was looking for a higher rise. Decided to give the Everlane Put Together Pleat Pant a try. At $88 they’re not cheap, but I searched various online sites for a similar style and the pricing is fair.
At first I thought they weren’t tapered enough, but I think the leg is comparable to the curator. The material is Tencel and they’re machine washable. I think the curator I had were dry clean but I washed them on delicate and hung to dry, the material has a little more texture than the poly of the curator. The waist fits perfectly and there are subtle belt loops.

The pockets are hidden in the pleats and they don’t give a pooch effect like some pleated pants do. I really like them. I followed the size chart and took my usual Everlane pant size because they fit at the smallest part of the waist.

I think the material works year round and I can see dressing them up but just wearing them the way I wore the curator most often, out at night when I don’t feel like wearing jeans.

    1. Thanks for reporting back on these! I have not ordered any of the Everlane pants but I did order a pair of Armani "techno slim" high waisted black slim leg ankle pants as part of my Rent the Runway unlimited and they are exactly what I was looking for. I was shocked because I usually strike out when I try pants via RTR so I stick to blouses, blazers and dresses. Button fly, belt loops, high waist and they are on the longer side, still ankle but not too short to wear in the winter time. Of course they're $$ but I would get a decent discount to buy them via my subscription but I have to determine if it's worth it or just keep them for a while via my subscription. They are exactly what I was looking for.

I do like the look of those pleated pants, I think they'd be more my speed.
