This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this
post) says it best, "You know, that thing you
bought because you love it and you keep pulling it
out and then putting it away without wearing it?"
Please
share your J.Crew item (either that you own or
are thinking about getting) that you would love help
creating an outfit with.
Also,
please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel
free to include links to your blog (where you
incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you
showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance!

I have the pull-on lace pants from two years ago (probably the same as this year's Easy Pant in Lace). I'm looking for new ideas for what to wear them with. Can anyone help? Thanks! The product photos show it with a chambray, but I'm looking for ideas that are a bit more dressed up.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the velvet peplum top? I like pairing lace with something a little edgy, so you could also try a leather jacket.

Great ideas, thank you!!
DeleteA top like the bell sleeve crepe top, or other "blouse" that can be worn untucked. I also remember seeing them styled with the Stewart plaid top. I prefer pants like that with a shirt untucked or if tucked in, a wide belt added, but that depends on your own personal style!
ReplyDeleteI bought and returned those pants but tried them with a fitted striped tee and blazer. They look good with a blazer.
I don't like to tuck in, with you on that! What color would you do on the bell sleeve crepe top? I can't decide if I want to keep it black or add a color. I will definitely try the stewart plaid with it (have this from a past year). Thanks so much for the ideas!
DeleteI'm a fan of all black, but any color you like would work. Ivory or white with black is great too.
DeleteStyling the lace ruffle top, sequin ball-drop earrings, and last year's cocoon coat on the blog today. Shirt ran small in the bust, so I sized up.

What are JCAs wearing to their office holiday party that usually consists of a sit down dinner at Italian restaurant (not too fancy). In the health care profession in the mid Atlantic. Thanks for outfit inspirations!
