Weekly Share: Other JCrew-like Retailers

This is the weekly "Other JCrew-like Retailers" post (similar to the "Off On A Tangent" posts), where we can share our finds from other retailers that have offerings similar to J.Crew (like Anthropologie, LE Canvas, Gap, BR, Talbots, Ann Taylor, and the like.)

If you have recently encountered items that are similar to J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including experiences with certain merchandise pieces, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

    Anthropologie is offering free shipping/no minimum today (yesterday too, apparently). Also, they have an extra 25% off sale items.

      Anthro is now 40% off sale items plus free shipping for the rest of today.

      I placed an order around 11:30 last night (eastern time) and for some reason the extra 40% was already working then. I'm not complaining though ;)

      Is there a code for the free shipping? I didn't receive an email with one, and my order is showing that shipping charges will apply.

      shopgrrrl - the free shipping was only good for the past two days. Last evening they changed sale from 25% off to 40% off while the free shipping was still in effect, but just for a little while.

      Oh, I see now, you posted just after midnight. Well, I give up! Last night I filled my cart with stuff to take advantage of the free shipping, but the 25% discount didn't get applied, and when I tried to check out, I got an error message, and then a message saying everything except one item in my cart was no longer available. Same thing again today, after I saw the 40% off message here, I put the exact same bunch of items in my cart, got an error message, and then once again everything was no longer available except one item (and the extra 40% off wasn't applied). Too bad.

      Their Spring Preview is also on through the 28th, and there are some beautiful prints coming our way next season!

    Ann Taylor has a gorgeous new vine print that looks very J. Crew. Loft also has some nice prints lately. I bought one top from each store.
