Hi, I'm looking for the metallic lulu peeptoe heels from last year. I normally wear a 6 from J. Crew, but I've read several reviews that these shoes run rather big. Not sure if I would need a 5.5 (I've never worn a 5.5 before). I have the fleur peeps in a 6, and they fit great. Any suggestions? ReplyDeleteFirst, pictured, is a featherweight merino from fall 2006 item number 78776, on inside side seam, in a size small or medium the color is a robins egg blue.
Second a wellesley cabled zip-up hoodie from Holiday 2006 item #78609 in what was called heather mushroom a light heathered brown in size medium. I have a picture if you think you have it.

Mags I agree the Lulu flats fit small. I'm a 9.5 and got a 9.5 and there was no way they were even going to stretch to fit. I didn't try a 10 though to see because it was a JCA deal on here. I've also heard the Lulu heels run big... and be curious to hear other comments because I'd love a pair myself but am a little gun shy because of the sizing.

ReplyDeleteMags: Hi there! I also own a pair of the Lulu ballet flats. I found that I was able to stick with my normal size. (Also, the length of the sole of the Lulus matched the lengths of all my size 9 in J.Crew ballet flats.)
ReplyDeleteHowever, I remember reading comments from some JCAs who found it was better for them to go with a half a size up- and I could easily understand why. I think this is because the fit of the toe does seems tight, because of the leather. It's a bit stiff in the toe area, compared to the other fabrics J.Crew uses for their ballet flats.
