Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Do not buy the Skinny belt in croc-embossed leather Item BA148! Mine arrived and REEKS of mold, I can’t even describe how bad it smells and beyond that it was a disappointment, very dark brown, I can hardly see the “croc embossing”. It was final sale so I will be visiting a Jcrew store this week to return, shouldn’t be a problem once they smell it.

  2. I was exited to get the Parke blazer in wool flannel Item J5627 in camel for $116 it arrived and it runs really small. So back it goes. I ordered the short sleeve cashmere tee for $28 this weekend & hope it works. I haven’t had much luck with Jcrew lately.

    1. I find the Parke blazer is consistently slim fit, I usually sized up 1 size just to wear it and not feel like my armpits were being lifted; 2 sizes up if I want to wear a thick knit under. What did you mean by "really small"?

    2. I ordered my regular Jcrew size in blazers but the Parke blazer’s sleeves were tight and I could barely button it. I wasn’t expecting it to be that slim fitting, now I know to size up in this style.
