"Looking to VENT" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

    3. Maybe next week. I’ve been given 3 different dates within the last week or so. The company keeps changing the dates. As of 4 pm CET it was stated the 11th.

  3. JC needs to be more descriptive in their product descriptions. I ordered the saffron pink seersucker camerons. On my smartphone, it looked like khaki and pink stripes, which made sense to me re: color name (saffron and pink). It arrived today and it's actually tri-colored: green, mustard and pink stripes. The green was not noticeable at all on my little smartphone screen. Thank god I didn't buy the matching blazer. No idea how I'll be styling this one.

    1. Oh boy, I'm sure they would accept a return in that case. They did return a final sale sweater for me in the past few months, when I complained the colors were nothing like their photos...

    3. Thanks for the advice. I tried them on last night and my gosh the colors -- they are so bright and garish, I looked like I was wearing clown pants. And nothing in my closet matches the particular shade of pink or green. I just emailed them asking for a return.

  4. Problem with mask shipments. Ordered one set and wrong color shipped. Many customers are complaining about the mistake. Told me to keep the one I received. Pay attention to your orders on this. It’s the Liberty Print pattern in the darker colors.

    1. Same here, Lynn. I ordered the darker colored Liberty masks and got the white background masks instead. Disappointed - not that the lighter ones aren’t lovely, just not what I ordered!

    2. @shopalot, forgot to explain earlier. Call CS and they will immediately credit back your method of payment and tell you to keep them. Sorry about that.

    3. @Lynn - I called right away. Customer service was excellent. Hoping the dark colored masks reappear soon so I can reorder.

  5. I could have sworn I ordered the darker masks but received the lighter colored masks. However, when I look at my order history, it includes a pic of the lighter colored masks. I wonder if the item was switched or if I indeed ordered the wrong color.

  6. @Jeanz, I’m sure you did order the correct colors. Look at your order and you should the image you ordered. Click on it and it will bring up the incorrect color. Remember call CS

  7. Some new(er) things I wanted to try but they have only ONE photo and no model pic! One is the shirtdress in silk twill AP161. One photo??? Of a dress? Also description says it is "back zip" which sounds perplexing on a button front shirt dress...
    At least one review finally showed up on it, but it's fairly new and also has been bumped to final sale. May try when it's NOT final sale.
