Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. So I been in a search for 2 cashmere sweaters AK152 cashmere short sleeve with peaches and and AK036 long sleeve cashmere with daisy. But knowing stores have 70 off I refused to buy online. So I called the store in nyc rockofelar and wanted to pay and pick up on Monday! But they insisted on shipping! Prices were also lower then online with 70 off and 15 off I got a bargain. And it’s being delivered today. ( 2 days after purchase). I am going to do returns on Monday at store so will keep you all posted! The rep at site said it was not to bust and they are happy to as social distance is important! They were so nice and friendly!

    1. Ah thanks for the head's up! I was looking for the gingham Camerons in my size and it's sold out on line. Didn't realize that the Rock store is open and that stores are 70% since I havent stepped into a store since March.
Kate, are you commuting into the city for work?

    2. Is the addl 15% off for cardholders? I have not been in a store, nor do I plan to go anytime soon, but those prices could change my mind.

    4. Kate, you lucked out. My order of calf hair espadrilles (AN908) got cancelled (a dreaded "We wish we had enough" message today in the morning, argh). So, i tried calling the Rock. After much rummaging through their inventory, they finally figured that they don't have the right size in stock. The price in store is $10 higher than it was online (so, $69.99 vs. $59.99, but it is indeed 70% off today). So, as usually, pricing is all over the place and is inconsistent. Inventory online and in-store is a mess... Keeping fingers crossed for pop-backs.

    5. Yes pricing is crazy. They did say they would apply online pricing of cheaper! They will come back!
At least you can get that price now anytime! They canceled on you so you can chat with them and reorder and they will price match !

Yes I commute into the city and have been all through out the pandemic! Wear my mask all the time On the bus. Have not done the train yet as I am convinced this is where most got sick!
The city has been empty! 5th ave is ghost town especially after 6pm. No Starbucks open or anything. It’s a different life for all of us! Trying to make best of the summer before the next surge this fall! Hope you all enjoying and staying safe:))

    1. I've been on the bus a few times (local not express) but only a few neighborhoods over, not to Manhattan. I'm sure the subways and buses themselves are clean and safe but I'm not so sure about the other passengers. I've been trying to work up my courage to go on the subway and just try it out for a few stops to see how my anxiety is. I've been to the massage parlor and the nail salon since those reopened but not to a clothing store since. I also question why I need to go into a store if they'll ship to me. I just called the UES Madison Ave store for a charge-send and they're very nice. FYI though - make sure you check the store pricing. My Cameron ginghams are slightly cheaper going by the online pricing/promo rather than the instore pricing because the pants are sale-priced at double the online sale price.

    2. I been doing express bus and local! Work and home is my commute! Express Buses are not to crowded! Local busses are crowded since half the bus is still
Blocked by plastic and chains! Most wear mask! But from time to time you get some people pulling mask down or eating( get me kinda boiling). Overall it’s clean. I can’t do the subway yet! I been waking a lot!
I feel safer at the hospital vs the subway...lol
Enjoy your Cameron’s they are my favorites! Have lots of colors and love them all!

    3. The deserted subway stations became homeless shelters. I feared being accosted more than being infected. The safety of crowds (of commuters) is something I didn't think I'd ever miss. But then these are unprecedented times.

  3. Nordstrom has released Anniversary sale preview if you log in with your account. So far no accessories or shoes and the items posted are really basic. More camouflage , leopard also a schoolboy blazer with stretch. hopefully the Jcrew file rollout has more pizzazz. I posted a few pics on my Instagram @shoppingcelle

    1. I like the silhouettes of the schoolboy and the bomber jacket, and am encouraged that the sweaters seem to be Tippi-shaped rather than Margots, though leopard/camo are not my thing. I'm hoping the schoolboy will also come in wool (or that the stretch doesn't feel like a cheap polyester) and the bomber in better colors than black, or even a more feminine print.

  4. Has anyone tried the Featherweight cashmere cardigan sweater (AD692) in neon pale kiwi? Is the color greenish neon or more of a pale yellow in real life? Not sure if the color displayed on my monitor is accurate so your comments would be much appreciated!

    1. I have this sweater and it is more of a pale yellow like the picture. ( I actually wish it had a bit more greenish hue as kiwi might imply - or wish it was the color of the key lime slip skirt), but still a nice color - pale lemonade color

  5. I bought it. It’s pretty! Actually more on yellow side then green! It’s a great summer sweater! Can be matched with a lot and thrown on to mix up some colors! It’s worth the sale price!

    1. You must have received a good one. I tried 3, scratchy, poor made and ran either too small or too large. I was so disappointed because it’s a beautiful color, rather like a 2012 version color in the neon citrus range. Well at least someone will benefit enjoy!!!!

  6. I did size up to a small! I usually do in cardigans! Seemed ok! But now I am a concerned! Lol

  7. Thanks for the input, everyone. I was looking for a light yellow cardigan but wasn't sure if "neon pale kiwi" (as indicated in the product description) could turn out to be neon green in real life!
