I bought the Sheath dress in Fringe Tweed (neon flamingos) on Final Sale. Haven't done that in a long time but could not resist. We shall see.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say that while we will never all (100% of the JC customer base) be satisfied with a rollout, we should be grateful not to see the excessive ruffles and one-shoulders and off the shoulder styles of the recent past. I still shudder sometimes when I think of those seasons when JC just could not help themselves. Even though I am spending a lot less this year (due to my NYE resolution more than anything), it's not as low as those 1-2 years when it just hurt my eyes to look at any JC rollout.
ReplyDelete@eeps ITA! Actually found some great things this year, I really love their current aesthetic
DeleteAbsolutely! I've bought a lot this spring/summer, surprised myself.
DeleteWe're usually dissatisfied with rollouts this time of year even in normal times. It's that pre-fall lull, when we're sick of summer clothes but that's mostly what they're still offering. I'm surprised they've done as well as they have this year, all things considered! I've bought some of my favorite casual clothes this year.
Eeps I agree with you too! Came here to say all of the lovely cotton tops, dresses, skirts I’ve picked up this summer have been perfect for my work from home situation. And I’m washing them and immediately wearing them again. And besides the comfy cotton the styles are just gorgeous. I just received the block print dress and I could not love it more! Same with the tassel tunic dress and the tassel floral dress. I’ve got my eye on the block print top and striped tiered skirt. Would be a lovely pairing.
ReplyDeleteUnrelated note, Loft’s parent company filed for Chapter 11 today.
I just got the e-mail from Loft and came in to post the info too. Makes you wonder who is next!
