  1. Quite a few new things up today. Mostly sweaters and coats.

    1. Thanks! I'm loving the looks of pointelle cardigan sweater. Just yesterday I got email from Sezanne featuring similar cardi but when I went to their website I found that sizes are pretty much gone. Glad Sezanne is not the only retailer that thought it's a good idea.

  2. I am loving on the Unisex 1989 side-zip cotton anorak. I found it during a magic hour when the 40% bigsale still applied, so paid only $25.49. Today it is $42.48 (weird price, I know, wonder if it is 1/4 of the original price?) which is still a great price. I ordered one for my stepdaughters boyfriend and one for my stepson. I sent them photos and they liked it a lot.

  4. I love the ruffle pocket coat in pine. It's elegant and classic with a unique twist, which is where I've always thought J.Crew really shines when they get it right. I think I'm going to order it with the 40% off promo right now - I just hope the quality and fit don't ruin it.

    1. That is such a good color. Think of olive greens as a neutral.

    2. How do you feel about the ruffle pocket? I’m questioning whether it looks like a badly sewn pocket flap or an actual ruffle. Haven’t seen it in IRL so hard to make up my mind.

  5. My big order was overall not great. The pocket placement on the velvet skirt is horrific and completely ruins the skirt. The puff sleeve poplin top is a fail for me (can’t put my finger on why though). The pleated midi is beautiful but I’ll need to reorder in a size up. I don’t know if I recommend sizing up but it was snug in my waist so I’m reordering.

    1. I fail with any puffed ruffled or otherwise flared shoulders as I have wide square shoulders.
Too bad about the skirt, it looks pretty. I like the gold and the wine.
