Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Factory has a flash sale, 50% off plus an additional 15% AND I was able to use a 15% educator discount as well. I’ve never been able to stack like that when ordering online before, but it worked. The Lexie’s were $25 and I bought two Schoolboys for $49 each after discounts.

I do like the Factory Schoolboy. Quality is good and the fit is much better on me than any of the current one-button blazer styles at Retail. The button always hits me too low. Happy Monday!

    1. I totally agree with you about the Factory Schoolboys. Quality and fit are great! Retail blazers are often off on fit for me.

  3. No visit as my bad tummy makes me want to stay home, but I found a pop-back size 2 Wide-leg pleated pant in stretch wool. I've never tried on this style, so I have zero idea if it will work for me. Does anyone have these pants? I think they came in wool blend and other fabrics as well...

  4. I just returned the knit wrap dress in Black in XS and S to the Willowbrook Mall (NJ) if anyone's looking for one.

  5. Stopped in for a browse this afternoon. Sale section 30% off, though not much of note. The poly Mercantile dresses continue to linger. Since I’d just come from the big Manolo Blahnik show at the shoe museum, inevitably I ended up buying shoes - the knotted espadrilles for $20 and the lace-up espadrilles for $30. Summer’s never going to end, right?
On another note, starting to think we may never get any more free shipping offers. There hasn’t been a single one since the awards program rolled out in the US, and those of us outside the US don’t qualify for awards! Boo JCrew...

    1. I noticed this too re: no free shipping. It’s never gone this long without it and it feels like we’re being penalized for the US always having free shipping now. Crewcuts no longer has free shipping in Canada. I emailed CS asking if Canada will get any type of rewards program but never received a reply which is weird because I’ve always received replies fairly promptly.

    1. Preorder is only via phone? Typing in the item number doesn't need yield any results.

  11. I miss the catalog. Received Talbots yesterday and loved going through it and picking stuff out that I love. J Crew is missing out on a lot of sales. Perusing the Internet is not the same.

  13. @Jan, go to JCRew’s page and request a style guide there’s an online form to fill in. Hopefully they will put one online as well. One would be surprised as to what JCRew will do for its loyal customers. I have one on the way to my old US address and one to me abroad now.
