Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Lots of reduced prices means I already placed two orders this morning. Picked up the unstructured blazer in each color for $29.99. I have the white and am surprised by how versatile it is. It's been replacing my denim jacket and looks very fresh.

Also got my mother a coverup (tassel tie crinkle beach tunic) for $9.99 and had it shipped to her house. Loving the free shipping!

    1. How is the fit for the blazer I am between sizes and was looking for a white blazer.

    2. I'm always a 2, and got a 2 and it's great.

    3. I grabbed a handful of tees, two swim cover ups and a few pair of earrings at the reduced prices. All but one thing was $9.99 or under and extra 20% with cardperks.

    4. I grabbed two of the blazer to try on for size, and two NB sports bras. Ugh this free shipping is no good for me.

  2. My pop backs shipped! Woot!

No sure trip planned until I see how those pop backs work out.

  3. Definitely some good prices to be had this morning! I'm wearing my Mercantile blossom print dress this morning and am now wondering if I should gone for the tall. I do like the length, just the sleeves are a little short. However, my complaint about bell sleeves is usually that I'm getting them wet in the sink, in my food, etc. so it's maybe not a bad thing that they're a little shorter. It's a really cute dress and I'm glad I picked it up.

I do have a few returns to make so I may stop in this weekend, not sure. No purchases this morning but I did have my eye on the unstructured blazer. Yesterday I picked up the pink tie neck top, the strappy knit midi in stripe and a popback of the black Sadie suede flats. I have the stone color in these and love them.

    1. Anne, I tried the unstructured blazer and didn't really like it. I think you might find it too sloppy...

    2. I tried it too and felt the same, it wasn't flattering on me at all. I love the concept and the price sure is appealing. For me I think the shoulders are too narrow and the body was too wide, kind of the opposite of my body type. I have pics on IG and everyone said the Regent I had in black, linen was much more flattering. (I sold it because the shoulders were a bit tight and I was hoping to find a replacement).

    5. Yes, thanks all for the advice! Since I seem to fit like @Suz Has, I am now sure there is no reason to try this jacket.

  5. So apart from J Crew, I received my Patch Camo Print Utility Jacket from GAP. At the moment if you combine the EXTRA and COOL promos you get 50% of sale + free shipping. You get a cannot combine message, but also get the free shipping so they do combine partly. This jacket is then 27.50 It fits TTS but roomy enough for layering. I could have sized down to XS, but then I think the sleeves would have been too short for my monkey arms. I like the 100% cotton, the lining is a good color, the buttons are nice, and it goes with a lot of my wardrobe. The color is a little more muted than the photos, which is good. It does not have a fitted waist line, but I still like it (especially at the price).

  6. Doe anyone know if the new rewards and free shipping are the extent of the fall “rebranding” effort? I’m very happy about the free shipping, but I was hoping for some reinvention in the “product.” Maybe there is more to come :) . I’ve asked the SAs in my store, but I usually find that JCAs know more about what’s going on at J Crew than most of the employees!

    1. I like the free shipping, but otherwise I'm not impressed with the reward program so far. I did not receive the promised 199 reward points and I am not able to access rewards online, as others have apparently done.

    2. I think they said the reward points could take up to a month to show up. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but it is likely that the points are being delayed.

I've seen a slight increase in style quality lately, so hoping for the best for fall rollouts!

  7. I stopped in briefly today to make a few returns. Sale was 30% off and they were stacking the 20% card promo (I had to ask them to apply it but no issues). Mercantile dresses were still marked $59.99 in store. I picked up a suiting skirt in heather flannel, I have a blazer/pants and have been looking for the skirt so it was a lucky find since my store doesn't carry suiting. The store manager did my transaction and said they'd be getting a new rollout the last week of the month.

    1. I stopped in my store to return something. No % off sale, only 20% off with card and lots of exclusions. Didn't bother looking much since everything was much less weeks ago with 30% off plus 20% off promos. I don't know how this store stays in business when they never have the promos other stores do. If I want to buy I either shop online for better deals or visit the other store in my area that seems to have promos.

    4. Thanks! Got a price adjustment on some orders even though CS gave me the ole “we typically don’t do this but...” even though they were all within the 7 day window.
