  1. This is sorta OT so feel free to delete Alexis, but I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to the JCAs that emailed me about a Gallerista Skirt on eBay last week. It's one of my white whales and I'd given up hope of ever finding it. Thanks to you lovely ladies I won the skirt and it fits perfectly. I'm so thrilled!!!

  2. Last night, I was refreshing the page for the Hooded basket-weave jacket hoping for a petite x-small to come in stock. One finally appeared, only for me to find that J.Crew was charging $89.99 for the regular size and $119.99 for the petite sizes. What?!? I quickly called Customer Service and they said they usually don't price adjust sale items but agreed to give me the lower price as a one time courtesy. I scored the jacket for $45 with the promo! Really hoping it fits since it was final sale.

    1. I did the same, was also refreshing the page, got the petit and asked for the price adjustment! Got petit xxsmall for $45. Can't wait to get it in the mail and see how it fits! I live far away from stores and couldn't see the jacket in person yet.

    2. Same here! The closest store is over two hours away, so I can rarely see items in person before an online purchase. I hope the jacket works out for both of us!

  3. Hi Ashley, I hope the jacket works for you. I usually wear a 2 in JCREW coats and the size XS fit me in this. I also tried the S but I was swimming a bit. It is a stiff material and sort of a dark grey/navy blueish color. I have received compliments and find it very easy to wear. Great for cooler spring rainy days.

    1. Thanks for the feedback! It does seem like a great transition jacket.

  4. Had my heart set on the Cleo loafers, so I chatted a VPN asking if any were available at a local store. Turned out there aren't any in my area. So I told the VPN I'd wait for them to go on promo on-line and he offered to give me a discount and waive shipping. God love him! (Also, thank you GiGi for confirming there is in fact in store promo)

  5. I got my first JCrew blazer today. I say it's the first because I'm sure I'm going to buy more JCrew blazers. I'm totally enamored, the fit and design is just perfect! I really hope JCrew keeps making classic schoolboys, I tried the new schoolboy in a store and it's not the same, the classic looks nicer on me.
