JCA "Help Style Me!" Weekly Post

This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this post) says it best, "You know, that thing you bought because you love it and you keep pulling it out and then putting it away without wearing it?"

Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.

Also, please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel free to include links to your blog (where you incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance! :)

  1. The promo JRSConifer mentioned is up! GOSHOP gets 25% off $100+. Also good in-store. Yesterday I tried on the cotton-silk voile dot popover. Thumbs up. Great fabric. Great print. Will be reviewing w/pics soon.

Shop w/the Regular Price Irl Pic Guide.

    1. The dot popover is $59.99 in-store. Still regular price online.

  2. I'm looking for ideas of what color cardigan and tights to wear with the FACTORY PLEATED SHIFT DRESS IN FLORAL. I recently purchased it and love the colors in the dress but don't know how to wear it. Thank you.

  3. Morning, JCAs! It looks like they changed the Collection site (no new arrivals, though). The pictures look nice - we haven't seen Kasia Struss in a long time - but what is this? *shudder*

    1. Or this...or this. These have to be some of the wackiest coats I've seen from JC.

    2. silver_lining - I like the idea of the jeweled collar tweed coat, but there's way too much going on w/the texture, the collar and those sleeves(!). Got a good laugh out of the other two. Actually, the pom-pom is interesting, but the collar is over the top! Someone needs yank on the restraint cord, stat.

    3. silver_ling, YES! I love seeing Kasia again. I like this Collection lineup. A little heavy on the bling in the outerwear, but after the baseball caps, capris, and sweatshirts, I guess outerwear was next through the blingerator ...
