  1. Question for the OG JCAs. Can anybody provide any fit and comfort feedback on the old J. Crew Lulu bow flats (from when J. Crew still made its shoes in Italy, sigh)? Are they TTS? Are they stiff? And does anybody know if the lining is leather or synthetic? Thank you in advance!

  2. Some of my Everlane skinny jeans arrived.
Their high rise authentic stretch skinny is an 11” rise. Their mid rise is a 9.5. I ordered the regular and tall lengths. Both work. The ankle is skinny which I like. Some of my skinny jeans from JCREW are too wide at the ankle.
The 11” rise basically sits right on my natural waist line. Not sure if it feels too high, I ordered the mid rise to see as well.
I often feel like the 8” rise on my Jcrew skinnies is really low on me. This does avoid the waist gap but can cause other fit issues.

The Everlane authentic stretch are very very comfortable. Even though they’re tight the fit is not restricting.

FWIW everlane regular skinny jeans (not the authentic stretch) didn’t work on me. The fit was weird.

If you’re looking for a simple skinny jean without crazy distressing or whispering at a very reasonable cost take a look. $68. Free shipping when you buy two items and free return shipping with Happy Returns. I always try multiple sizes. Regular shipping Orders tend to take a week.

    1. Oh I meant to add I took the smaller of my Jcrew jean sizes for the skinny jeans which is what I’ve been taking in Jcrew skinny jeans too.

    3. The high waist skinnies look fantastic on you. Make you look taller than the mid-rise. Think with your longer torso the proportions are good with the high rise.

    4. Yes, they definitely make me look taller. Now I will want to get rid of all my lower rise. 😂

    5. I never really felt comfortable in mid rise. I have a long torso too and I just ordered those carpenter pants in black and a black cashmere crew neck at Everlane. Thanks for your reviews on Insta, much appreciated!

    6. I’m wearing the black carpenters now! I took a chance. 7 hour car ride. Wearing with the chunky cotton crewneck, old streetboots and black denim jacket. All everlane. Lol. Also carrying the new backpack from everlane.

  3. Do you find everlane jeans have a thinner ankle? I like the J crew 9" high rise jeans but i find the ankle awkward with boots.

    1. The ankle is thinner. My Jcrew toothpicks which have a 28” inseam do not sit tight on my thin ankles. The Everlane ones work better on me.

  4. Astounding! Blogger let me on to comment! Now - what was I going to say? oh, yes, I already own the few items I would consider, and at the same or better prices. This kind of deceptive pricing can't be legal. At least not while there are still consumer protection laws.
