  1. Always happy when I can get a PA easily. Although, I often find their math is wrong (in my favor) even when I do all the math work for them. (Shrugs)

I do like what I'm seeing lately. Not everything is perfect and there's still some quality issues I really want to see fixed, but I've been getting a number of things that I really like lately.

    1. My PAs sometimes seem like too much, too, but I attribute it to the fact that my state charges high sales tax on clothes (boo!) and I’m in denial about how much difference that makes.

  2. I wore my Paisley print Tippi with a Banana Republic bi-stretch suit for an interview yesterday and felt awesome. The print was the perfect accent to the conservative suit. On a related note, I think it’s telling that the gorgeous Golden Floral tippi is sold out in many sizes. Beautiful prints will always sell!

    1. Whoops! It was actually the Bandana Print tippi.

    2. Good luck on the interview!

    3. @Cheri Thank you! The outfit definitely rocked. I would have loved for the whole thing to be J.Crew but I haven’t been able to snag a navy blazer yet. The Campbell was a bit too short for me (I have the pants), but I’m hoping to snag a Parke bi-stretch at 40% off someday soon.

  3. Ordered a few sale items at fair prices I'm excited to try. The full length wide leg satin crepe pants, the wrap crepe blazer, an older style of Point Sur jeans (all cotton) and the oversized silk bandana in tiger foulard.

  4. I have been very curious about that blazer. Good luck!

    1. Reviews are mixed but I know it's poly crepe, it was really reasonable, and I'm just hoping it looks like a less structured blazer.

    2. The only thing that has stopped me from purchasing is my long arms. I think it's really cute and could be very versatile. I trust your review!!

    3. My arms are really long too. I sized up to a small which is what I preferred in the tropical floral blazer, so hopefully that will make the arms a little longer. I tend to cuff sleeves anyway so I hope that's not an issue.

    4. Ha! I was contemplating this one too. My concern was the square shoulders with my already wide shoulders. Plus my long arms...@Suz Has I will await your review with interest, since you always seem to have the same likes/dislikes.
The price is attractive, what color did you go with?

    5. Black, of course. I have so many black blazers but I had a burgundy one and never wore it. I always reach for the black ones and they're all slightly different, so now I'll have another one. 😂 plus I have the Madewell Caldwell pull on trousers which are also black crepe (sort of) and the Jcrew curator pants (black crepe) and a few black skirts it should work with, aside from denim.

    6. I was trying to figure how I'd wear a black blazer...problematic with black pants/skirts when the colors are a little off. Dark olive or grey or most reds/burgundy and some browns would work. Don't want to get stuck with a blazer than only matches with jeans. Maybe pants that are black with a print?

    7. I don't have issues with the blacks usually. And I have a bunch of black jeans too. I like when the textures match but forgive myself if they're slightly different because no one will really notice besides me.

  5. Has anyone tried the wide leg chinos? Is the cut like the foundry pants (which I love)?

I received a reward certificate e-mail with an odd amount. Shouldn’t they always be in $5 or $10 increments? I always use even amounts when I redeem. How did I end up with $42.10?

    1. I can’t answer the pant question but my email said my reward is $2.10. At least yours is a decent amount!

    2. I think mine is a large amount because of the full priced blazers I purchased and returned. Next month I might have a negative rewards balance.

    3. Mine was $32.10 and I thought it was a mistake.

  6. mine was $39.95 which i thought was odd too. it's apparently from the merge of the various rewards things into one... but since i couldn't figure out how many points or rewards or balance i had, i can't figure out if the nearly $40 is correct or not.

Some of the wording in the email:

Great news, as part of the merge between the J.Crew Credit Card Rewards program and the J.Crew Rewards program, you’ve just received all of your remaining J.Crew Credit Card points at 5% back...

  7. Dropped by store today, 30% off applied to sale as well as reg price. Lots in sale section but not much to tempt me, got a pair of the step-hem slim boyfriend jeans which I loved (size down). The new 365 crepe drop-sleeve turtleneck is fabulous btw and tts for a slight slouch.

    1. Thank you for mentioning this! Do you think the 365 turtleneck would be too short on someone 5’7”, is it cropped? Thanks again!

    2. @jan i reviewed it (third row down, pic to the right).
It is not cropped and i think it would work for you.

    3. Thank you @Ina! I can’t believe I missed it, I always look at your reviews! :)

    4. I really like that one. The last thing I need is another black shirt but I have so many bottoms it would work well with. Plus I think it would look cool with a button down under it.

    5. @SuzHas, I just bought the black balloon sleeve turtleneck last month so I’m thinking that too. I might try the ivory or navy but I do think black may look best.

  8. Purchased 2 pair of leather leggings this morning @40% off plus 15% because there was a problem with the previous order I received. Also had purchased the Reeds cropped Fair Isle sweater (3543) recently. TTS. Love the colors and it's very soft. I'm high waisted, long arms, slim,34DD and 5'7 1/2 took the small so it fits perfectly.Grabbed the tipped featherweight cardigan with the belt in Navy/White. Arrived with a slight mark on the white trim portion. Final price after adjustments $6.35. Received the slipper loafers with the little Bulldog on it, beautiful green TTS $6.50.
No support on the sole but for knocking around the house they're fine. Received the cashmere hoodie which was another cheap purchase...what can I say other than it's terrible and on it's way back already. Looks like a stretched out sack. Color is pretty that's it. The Everday Cashmere cropped cardigan which I purchased felt more like wool. Not impressed. Was very inexpensive when I purchased it. Not worth more than $30.00 including tax which I paid for. I do not like this Everyday Cashmere line period. Ordered a couple of the new Ratti dresses. Not very optimistic but out of curiosity will try. The price point is too high for one and Jcrew could have done better with selecting prints. When I am home I normally purchase their fabric and have dresses and skirts made by my tailor for far less and don't have to worry about quality issues. I also eat and drink better while doing this:)
