"Looking to VENT" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. can't believe it. another online order returned instore and I had to call CS and get them to issue the credit as it as not put through? this is third time in two mths. please JCA's keep track and check all returns etc. all I ever get is an "Oh sorry about that." I Have no idea why my returns have not been credited. I do receive the emails that they were returned...just no refund on credit card.
    I am exhausted.

    1. Don't you just get the card receipt showing the credit when you are in the store?

    3. I receive an email (pretty much right away) when doing online returns ..instore. this is your receipt.
      so when I saw today only one order had been refunded ( I returned two separate orders) I called CS. they said it was "not put through" although they had info it had been returned.
      This is the third time I have had this occur...so just a heads up to check ...all your orders well.

    4. Related. This is my 3rd mail in return since my local store closed. The email from J. Crew in regards to submitting my return through Navar shows me returning 4 items. I just received an email stating they processed my return and only two of the four items are listed. They are all from the same order. This is really the last straw for me. I shouldn’t have to contact customer service every time I make a return. Returning in store isn’t an option unless I want to drive over an hour out of my way. So frustrating.

    5. I had a ton of issues with mail in returns that were never credited and had to walk through them all over the phone. Keep every receipt. This should not happen.

  2. Lost package: UPS says USPS received the package on the 14th. USPS says UPS still has the package. Fortunately my item is still in stock, so CS refunded me and made a new order. If the lost package ever shows up I can just return it. First time I've had a lost package, I'm glad it was not one of my recent rare popbacks.

    1. Canada Post on strike. I likely will not order on Black Friday. who knows when it will arrive. and for $12 this is silly.

  4. I ordered the fair isle sweater in gray and it is awful. The quality is more in line with a $40 Zara sweater. Did not even try it on. Going back. How can it get worse?

Get ranked on higher position in google results through search engine marketing world's top rated performance driven agency.You might have seen people who invest more and more money on inorganic results but when you have our company holding your hand then you do not need to roughly use your money.
