Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

    2. Me too fleur de lys. Dismal sale section.

    3. I didn't see an update to the sale section when I checked this morning but I did get some good price adjustments on my purchases within the last 7-10 days. I'm overly excited about a few dollars saved (or back) in my pocket and decided that I was through shopping until I see some new stuff on the website! Come on JC, clicking my heels for a new rollout soooooooooooooooon...

    4. Happy Memorial Day to everyone! Agree an update would've been nice. Finally ordered Charlie metallic loafers with 40% sale & a few price adjustments.

  2. I bit on a few items I've wanted to try.
Rhodes linen pants in black and white. I have a white linen Rhodes blazer from last season and a black linen regent blazer. I'd love to be able to make a "suit" for warm weather occasions where I went to look a little more polished.
Sailor pants in heavy linen, also in white. Not sure if it will be too much with the Rhodes blazer, and not sure how I'd style them, but I saw a SA in my store wearing the orangey color with the window pane penny top and she looked amazing. I don't do orange so...tried the white. We shall see.
Also ordered the lace mini in red and white. I'm hoping it looks A-line on me and not straight.
Palm tree tank, 40% off sale price plus ebates...good deal.

I wonder if stores are 50%off sale.

    1. Suz- I'm curious about your thoughts on the white sailor pant- they went on sale today (one more PA for you!). they were slightly see thru when I tried them on this weekend but I was wearing black underwear. I was thinking about taking another look again - the style is so unique and a little outdide my "usual" style and so striking.

    2. Oh, I will check the price.

    3. They were on sale when I ordered them. In all honesty I'm not usually comfortable in white pants, but I think it may be a sharp look. I'm hoping anyway...most likely I'd wear them with nude underwear.

    4. @jennifer, I'm curious how you would style them, especially after having already tried them on.

    5. Black t-shirt or striped t-shirt, my usual uniform :) I'm not 100% comfortable in white pants either, I'm bound to get them dirty...really wish the navy pants were still available! *sigh* Kinda tempted by the orange ones.... ;)

  3. I ordered the satin tie sandals earlier this week. They were $125. I haven't received them yet. They are wholly impractical for my life, but I have a hard time talking myself out of shiny, pretty things sometimes. Has anyone seen them in person?

Is it worth asking for a price adjustment for $17? Or, I am going to return them anyway? Haha.

    1. Hi! Maqsad reviewed them on her IG (sartorialchoices) and they are gorgeous! Their is no way I could pull them off with that heel height though.

    2. Which color? Aren't there the pink colorblock and also the tan? They're beautiful. Hey, I'd do a price adjustment for the $17. (I think there are also similar flat ones but I don't see them online now.)

    3. @SuzHas -- the tan color. They honored the PA, no problem. They come to $108, but they still don't really fit my lifestyle. Potentially a beautiful show for really making an outfit special, but I rarely go anywhere where I need that level of special. They are useless in the winter and in the rain. I guess we'll see how they look on my feet.

    4. I can do high heels, I just don't go anywhere that dressy. I have young children, so even when I do go out sans kids, it's usually with other moms and parents and nobody wears things that fancy.

  4. Hit the outlet mall yesterday w a friend. Cute stuff at Factory and good deals but not many customers. No retail items this time - and there were a lot three weeks ago. My $ went to Kate Spade because they had some gorgeous bags and 70% off for Memorial Day. It was mobbed.

    1. Loved your pix, and the dress looked great on you! I tried my size in store but I think that I am in the "problematic-zipper" category (real sad face!) My size is still available so I will keep thinking on the dress. Good luck with it!

    2. @Gigi, it's beautiful on you! I hope you bought it. :)

    3. Looks stunning on you! I like it better on you than the model. Maxi dress + Birkenstocks = my summer weekend uniform, so I might just have to order it too!

    4. Looks fantastic! I thought it wouldn't work on us shorties but I might need to try it.

    5. Gorgeous on you, Gigi! Happy it worked out for you.

    6. A belated thanks for the lovely comments. Yes, I bought the tiered maxi. My goal is to wear it at least once this summer.
