This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopped
by a J.Crew store this past weekend
to see what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS
{sigh!} in person, maybe you
might be willing to
share that with us in this post. In
particular, if you could share
with us a few of the noteworthy items
that are available, at what
prices, and potential sizes the
store is carrying (as well as the
store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also, please
let us know if your local store
was/ is carrying an additional
percent off sale. Thanks in
advance!!! :)
New promo up: 25% off regular priced items and an extra 30% off sale with code GOFISH. I'm sure their are exclusions but it seems to be working on third party items now.
ReplyDeleteAppears to be a lot of items excluded. I guess they are trying to see what sells without a promo.
DeleteOrdered the Collection Tulle Top w Embroidered Polka Dots. This is the item I've had my eye on since it was shown @ NYFW. Was able to apply the Gofish promo, and I had my summer reward ($25) and a $10 mail promo. Total w tax came to $208.+
ReplyDeleteOh where should I wear it to? 😂 Not sure about the tulle...as I'm scared of it snagging.
I like how it's worn with the built in cami or with a white button down shirt as styled on the runway. I chose size 2, to give myself room in case I plan to layer w/ a white shirt.
Adorable top, JSR. The Collection "specialness" of yore. Hope you love wearing it.
DeleteAgree that it's a special piece, and I hope you love it!!
DeleteWe shall see.
DeleteIt's selling out quick.
Surprised that the skirt is sold out!
oh its gorgeous!!! I hope you love wearing it:)
DeleteSale section received another big update, lots of pop backs
ReplyDeleteAarg, lots of things excluded today that werent excluded the past few days in the cdn sale (even just some basic items).
ReplyDeleteSadly no free shipping code, but I still bit. Three items that I wanted; two 30% off regular price, one off the sale price.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm doing my part to keep the company afloat.
thought we might get free shipping today...bet next weekend US long weekend promos is better...Canadians do not even get style guides in store anymore..
Delete"Oh Canada..." why do we have to be second class? No style guide, lesser promos, fewer choices and they cost more.
DeletePerhaps being so famously Canadian and polite has screwed us.
I went by the Prince St store on Friday evening for an order pickup of three items: a girls rashguard, TM peasant blouse popback and NBs. I was in the neighborhood already when I got the email notification. Luckily I read enough reviews here to expect there'd be a wait and a mad search, which of course materialized. Apparently they had "tons of boxes back there" so it took about 20 minutes and at least three checks on the spelling of my last name to get the right box. I hustled it to the fitting room to try them on, and ended up keeping only the rashguard. When I went to return, the SA and I had a little mixup, in which I told her I wanted to return 2 out of the 3 items in the order, which she did sort of on autopilot, and then oddly enough asked to see the third item. I gave it to her, she took it out of the plastic and inspected it, then rang it up. I looked at her blankly and said "But I already paid for that?" Then she apologized and said she thought I wanted to return it, but then why did she ask me to pay for it?? Either way, we both laughed it off in a "It's Friday night, we're both tired and it's too hot out" way, and she wrapped my rashguard in tissue paper, gave me a small bottle of water, and sent me on my way. Good but scatterbrained service?

ReplyDeleteLast night I finally got an email that my order from 5/11 was ready to be picked up in store. The two missing items are supposedly sold out, but ironically enough, one was in stock online when I received the email (and may still be). Of course the difference being, when I ordered it was 25% off and yesterday it was not. (Now it is!) I don't even have the energy to deal... very frustrating.
ReplyDeletereturned the charlie mule in glossy leather (weird blue/navy) robsen st store was 30% off sale. it was 40% early in the week. saw a table with the candy...but know SA 's said anything about it.
ReplyDeletedid some damage at the GAP ...need only casual items for this summer...
Would have liked to have kept the shoes...but disliked the glossy leather and found the color a little off. Carolyn from Vancouver
order arrived today - 4 tees, 1 tank, 1 pr socks. Right. 6 packages.
ReplyDeleteDid some more math. Bus to and from JC store - $5.50. Economy shipping - free or $5. Standard shipping - $3 or $8. Value of my travel/wait/aggravate time - uncountable. There's a JC store right across the street, but they "don't participate" in Ship to Store. So i will continue with Ship to Me, and will also continue taking my returns across the street.
Oh my...🙃
DeleteI just realized that this promo only last one day. Ordered a pair of shorts for my daughter this morning because "only few left" but I have at least one item in my cart that I really wanted to try with promo because over $110 and promo makes the sale tax disappear. What do we think Memorial Day promo will be? Spend more save more kind of promo? 40% off sale (boo)?
ReplyDeleteI'm curious too! I guess we will find out after midnight.
DeleteIncredible post! I am really getting prepared to over this data, is exceptionally useful my companion. Likewise extraordinary blog here with the majority of the significant data you have. I am sharing related topic which is most important on Playstation Gift Card
