Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. OT: I don't fully understand the financial ins and outs, but I hope this gives JC some breathing room: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-jcrew-debtrestructuring-blackstone-idUSKBN17X1KD

  5. I visited in store for returns and was hoping to find something to buy as I had a bounce back card to use. Unfortunately, nothing caught my eye. The place was packed, which I was happy to see for them! It was a rainy day and I don't think they anticipated the volume as they seemed to be understaffed. Looking forward to next roll out and may stop in to try again with my card.

  6. Went in today after an unexpected errand brought me downtown. Sale was extra 40% off, I tried on several things but left empty handed. I took the opportunity to try on Regent blazers since I was asking about them yesterday. I found them narrow through the waist, and I could probably wear a 12 or 14. The sleeve length was great, so I'm hoping the Chambray version isn't too different.
My store had a few Lady jackets with Liberty trim, and unbelievably, a whole whack of Sammies still hanging around from last season (and they were cheaper at Christmas!).

  7. Received the Lena cap toe pumps (blush and black) which was a popback last week. Been eyeing them for months but didn't pull the trigger even when they went down to $30 because of the height. Suz Has you were right! They are comfortable and didn't feel that high. They are beautiful and for $37, an absolutely steal!

  8. Ladies, I have a treat--I popped into Brookfield Place JC after work and snapped some super quick pics of the next rollout. On my IG @myclosetandmycats. Some promising looking items. Also, if you are looking for the eyelet dress in green they had a full rack of them, so call and see if they have your size for a charge-send.

  9. Stopped today for in store pick ups. My store had 50% off sale. Picked up sequin glitter flats & educator discount was stacked. Works well with gingham cotton pj set that was a part of my in store pickup. Navy is exactly the same. Bought the pjs because they're multifunctional. You can wear top with other bottoms. If you can catch them as a popback sale, I recommend.
