This is OT but I have a package coming from Lynchburg by ups mail innovations. Has anyone ever heard of this for their J.crew stuff? My package went from Lynchburg to New Jersey and will now make its way back down to Tennessee. I am only 5 hours from Lynchburg and I used to get stuff in two to three days but now it looks like Thursday is the soonest with this one.
ReplyDeleteUgh, my last few orders have come via UPS mail innovations and it's awful. It doubles the usual travel time, the detour thru NJ adds unnecessary miles, and my packages disappeared from tracking until the day they were delivered. Hope JC doesn't plan to keep using this ship method.
DeleteSadly that has been my experience too, not only from Lynchburg but some stores apparently use UPS Mail Innovations too. Not an improvement.
DeleteThey just keep getting worse and worse on the shipping. But I did want to mention that I wore my eyelet leather sandals in white that I picked up at the clearance store to church yesterday and I really love them, they are gorgeous. You know, when you wear a pair of shoes and just keep looking at them because they are so fabulous. I wore them with the white clip dot midi and blue gingham shirt that ties at the waist. My husband even commented on how cute I looked. I guess it possible to be "cute" even at 50 plus. Also, Doodle enjoyed her trip to the clearance store. The staff said they would watch her while I grabbed my stuff. They took her outside to walk and then played with her in the store. The store has a great area outside with nice grass, big shade trees and picnic tables and all the staff are so nice. Can't wait to go back in August.
DeleteSmartPost by Fed Ex is much the same. I'm in Nashville, and will watch updates that my packages are here at our distribution center, then sent to Memphis, then Southhaven MS, then back here to the local PO. Usually receive them two-three days after they initially arrive in Nashville-grr.
DeleteOn the bright side, i usually shop off season clearance, so I'm not able to wear items right away, anyway. Glad you enjoyed the clearance center-I hope to go someday!
I forgot to include that I also got a white off the shoulder dress at the clearance store. I didn't realize that it is actually lined which is nice since as I posted earlier, didn't have time to try anything on. If nothing else, I will use it as a swimsuit cover up. I think it was less than $20.00.
