Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. I will only stop by to make a return. The flamingo cotton popover is not for me. I love the print, but the length and fit of the top are too short and too boxy. This would have been a great print for just a regular popover or some other piece but I did get the skirt and love it. I also scored the suede ankle wrap wedges today. Both the navy and brown were back online in my size so I decided to get the brown since I have the navy suede Laila. I wanted these from the beginning and I know I said the other day that I wasn't getting any more shoes, but...I have gotten all my favorites on sale and 50% off so I think that is pretty good. I am also wearing my Billie Denim Jeans today and I must say I love them. They hold their shape much better than the white ones. Super comfortable, super flattering, and on sale! These will be my new go to jeans.

  5. Just got home to find the silk midi skirt in brushstroke floral on my doorstep, although UPS Innovations was still showing it hadn't shipped from the order I placed on Saturday. Beautiful skirt. I've had my eye on this one since Fashion Week. It's probably my favorite print since the Casbah, long, long ago in maybe 2012. I took my usual size 2. I'm a long-legged 5"4 and the skirt hit right below the kneecap, which is fine for me. It's longer than usual, but not too long. It's in a ribbed silk I've always called surah silk. It's also lined. The hem is finished with nice quality hem tape, which would make it easier to take up an inch or two if needed. Colors are bright and gorgeous. Lots of tones to pick up in tops. I like the variation of wider and narrower pleats--the kind of touch we used to take for granted in J. Crew clothing. Inside the package was a note from Mickey, which he says is included in every package that leaves Lynchburg. It's a thank you for choosing J. Crew.

  6. Highly recommend the cinnamon Jackie cardigan and the shell. Beautiful color and on super duper sale...I think both pieces were less than $25.00.

  9. Took a day trip to Troy & visited Somerset Mall. The J Crew has tons of jewelry. Joy Behar was wearing the petal brûlée necklace on The View this week; it was stunning; net is $34.49. I wanted the fun floral and crystal earrings after seeing them on an SA but could never find them; net is $12.49. Pics of necklace and earrings on IG (peterst1). I didn't buy the olive colored link necklace, but they had lots of them & net was $19.99. Every color option of the enamel leopard bangle was available too from $29.99 - $39.99 before 50% off.

    1. I went to my local store recently and they had a ton of sale jewelry too! They don't seem to update that section online very often. I might have to call and get myself the olive link necklace ;)

  10. I received an email for Millard Drexler which stated that he was very pleased with how the current J Crew pieces seem to mirror the pieces from catalogs past.
I did stop by my shop twice , as a matter of fact. It has has a huge sale section, but nothing appealed to me at all. Except, possibly the full price straw clutch/ minaudiere.

  11. Can someone comment on fit of the Sloan Calf Hair D'orsay Flats? I'm between size 6 & 6.5 and not sure if I should go up or down the size on this one. Thank you!

    1. Hi aeio2, I don't have the calf hair Sloan's but I did size down 1/2 size in the other Sloan's I own. That seems to be the general consensus online in the reviews as well. Maybe some others will chime in...

    3. I sized down 1/2 size in the regular suede Sloan's but I'm on the small side of a 7 1/2. I went w/a 7.

  12. I stopped by to make returns, but didn't buy anything. Wanted to try the ruffle sleeve tee, but my store only had a few sizes (not mine). Was tempted by the blue cotton cable sweater, but am fairly shopped out. Expecting two large orders to arrive this week-hoping all work out. Didn't really check out new arrivals, but I did think the destination tees were cute and the new blue print was prettier in person than online. I'll be trying to save my pennies for fall clothes, which we won't be able to wear here for another three months.

  13. This rollout with all the late summer items is insane! In the best way. Here in Florida, we get a lot of wear out of pre-fall and summer clothes, so it is nice to get some summer silhouettes and fabrics but in colors that work year round! There's so much I'm loving, so I threw some pictures up on my blog. http://www.vialafemme.com/j-crew-summer-2016-and-pre-fall-2016/
