"Looking to VENT" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

  2. Do any of you understand the rewards updates? It is so perplexing. And I'm a fairly intelligent person. I'll put it this way: I completely comprehend my rewards breakdowns on all other credit cards.

    4-6 weeks to receive the rewards seems ridiculous as well.

  3. Mentioned this on an earlier post... Website problems during checkout giving input of "billing erros"... if you input a new cc, both will be charge. Of course JC will put a reversal of charges in one of the cards but this may take days, not hours.
    Experienced this "glitch" twice ...

  5. Had a backordered item cancelled without any notice. Cancelled because I paid via paypal and after 60 days the paypal authorization runs out, therefore JCrew couldn't recieve payment. Of course, they never bothered to email me about it so that I could paypal again...and now the item is gone altogether. So annoyed. These kinds of things should be automated, its not like you didn't pay, you authorized payment previously, clearly you would do it again!

  6. definitely not a gripe- it looks like j. crew is back on ebates for cash back! i've racked up some pretty decently sized checks and glad it will continue. :)

  7. my exchange got cancelled, AFTER I received a shipping confirmation...AND i can see the shoes available online??! :( very disappointed!
