  1. 50% off of everything at the Factory in stores and online, including new arrivals and stuff already sale priced. Prices already marked (no code needed) so I'm guessing you can apply something else if you have something.

    1. Yes you can. One additional promo which is noted in the fine print. The rep at the store told me the whole store 50% off plus 20% if you have the promo card.

    2. And of course, they've hidden the vests again :-)

    3. Hi! Is the promo card something just some people received? I know the code for 20% off $100 ended Oct. 8. Was there something else? Thanks! :)

    4. Hi Kittywitty - the code I got was on a postcard that was in a package from a jcrew.com purchase. Ladies, double-check your brown bags and boxes!

  2. If anyone has a 20% promo code they don't want, I'll take it:

  8. OT- but are any JCAs going to check out the Jcrew in the new Shops at Nanuet that just opened today?? Would love any feedback on the new store. Also was wondering- would a new store have any sale items?

    1. Our new store actually had more sale than normal because it hasn't been picked over (when it was new).

  9. How do the factory tops run in comparison to retail? Specifically, I am looking at the scalloped lace top. I took a 4 in the raindrop lace short sleeves version from retail last summer. Would it be the same size in factory?

Also, how do the factory Charlie sweaters compare to the Tippy? Size and quality.

    Thanks!

    1. A, the Factory merino Charlie appears nearly identical to the retail Tippi. I cannot tell the difference from retail and trust me, I've got a LOT of Tippis. I buy the same size Charlie and Tippi. I've heard a lot of the Factory sweaters run large but this one seems TTS to me.

  10. I think the factory Charlie is sometimes slightly shorter than the retail, which I actually like because I'm on the shorter side (5'4").

  13. As mentioned above, and as others have already noted in the new arrivals thread, there are a lot of new promo-priced items & markdowns today (all of which are eligible for the extra 40% off). I have them listed in this post on my blog for those interested. :)

  14. Just wanted to give credit where it's due. I placed an order in Monday that included the tweed front tee in black. It hadn't shipped yet and I wondered what was wrong. Then I got a voice mail from J. Crew this afternoon to say it was out of stock but if I gave them a call, they had some"ideas." When I called back, the VPS that I spoke to offered to find it in a store for me and send it overnight at no extra charge. Would that be ok? Hells ya!

  15. I LOVE jcrew denim. They are the only jeans that fit me and truly last forever. I have been looking for some new denim to try from them and ordered the factory velvet jeans this morning. Hope they work out!

  16. I'm loving that the in-store markdown prices are still very close to the online prices. Click here for the In-Store Price Guide. Note the Oct dates in red.

  20. I looooove J.Crew customer service!! Had to share this with my fellow JCAs =).

Two days before the Extra 40% off Final Sale promo, I purchased the Heathere Sequin Tank for $29.99 + Free Shipping w/ no Minimums. Two days later, the 40% off promo arrived. I emailed J.Crew to request it to be applied to my order and they did! No fuss! No Ifs, no Buts!

    I LOVE J.Crew!!!! <3

  24. Love my skinny utility chinos in vintage aubergine, got them on sale for $36. Wearing them today with hothouse floral blouse from retail 2012. Would love to find them in black. Thanks J Crew for a great style and price.

    1. what discounts did you use to get that price..i see that they are 89$ online or did you purchase in store?

    2. AN - all of the skinny utilities are $59.99 in-store. I believe sunwashed sand are $39.99 in-store. The aubergine rang up for $39.99 when I bought them a wk or two ago. HTH

    3. Thanks Gigi!! They were not in the store i go to. Will have to use the redbox to order them. Is there are review of them somewhere online?

      Delete
    4. Gigi had a review on her blog. I think they are TTS, I wear a 27 Toothpick and the 4 fits great. I am short (5' 1") and they are a little long but I was able to fold them up since the material is heavy and they are perfect. HTH

    5. AN - As JRSConifer said, they are tts. I am 5'2 and just wear the length as-is, even with flats. They weren't too bunched at the ankle. I guess it will depend on your inseam, y'know, where they fall on your leg.

I only have a mid-shot of the skinny utility here. I wore them today and they didn't stretch out very much, which is good.

  25. I ordered the Janey's in Acropolis Blue but they didn't have enough. I got a phone call about it and the CSR gave me the new Black color for the same price! Love it!

  26. I love JCA WIFFY!

More reliable than the website. More powerful than a salesperson. More effective than a vps. It's a J Crew Aficionadaaaaaa!!!

Thank you so much to the JCA who located a bracelet for me. It was a long journey, made very short once a JCA got involved.
