ReplyDeletekind of random, but i love the pie image on the "sale" section on the website! i'll be visiting the westfield location in downtown SF to return the classic schoolboy blazer (which would be cheaper if i were to get it now than the price i had paid...hmmmm...).

ReplyDeleteI'll go to Factory to make some returns. I don't expect to buy anything, though. I'm returning the Factory Cocoon coat in "BCO" (bright cobalt?). The price was good but I don't think the style is good on me, and the blue color wasn't quite what I am looking for.
ReplyDeleteCate, did it have the same feeling as the retail version? I missed out on retail, trying to see if to stop by factory (hour long drive) or not.
DeleteI love that factory gives retail-like versions but at times, I feel like I wasted money buying retail while there is an exact copy-cat cheaper at the factory store (example the polka-dot tippi that have been renamed but look exactly the same as the retail version)
Hi, I am not sure if I ever tried on the retail Cocoon coat. I did not love the wool on the Factory coat. It was fine, but I have the Stadium Cloth Boulevard coat and that wool has spoiled me. But mostly I didn't love the shape of the coat on me and the blue wasn't quite what I was looking for, although it was still a nice blue. Overall it's a very nice coat for the price, just not what I had in mind.
DeleteAlso, the Factory store didn't have any of these. Mine didn't have any heavy coats at all, so I'm thinking you should call your store first before making that long drive. Good luck!
Thanks! I went in, yes the cocoon didn't feel the same as retail so was a pass; there are a few of the tippi with swiss dot in cream and black ribbons and a grey and orange combo too but lots of polyester and very little wool. Am happy I got retail on that one.
DeleteAnyone know if the prices of the Minnies are cheaper in store? I know the navy and wine color are on sale on the website. I ordered the Winnies online from J.Crew Factory and while they fit the same I noticed the material is considerably thinner.
