Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the WINTER sale, or to see some new SPRING arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Happy Friday! Has anyone seen the Drake's Zigzag Hat at a B&M recently? That's the bright blue one with the red and black zigzags and pompom :) Thanks very much for any help!

    2. Greenwich CT store had some and the scarves as well

    3. San Francisco Center had some as of Wednesday!

    4. Thanks, guys! SF is sold out by now, sadly :( M Kim, did you mean the collection store on Madison? My VPS works at the other one, and she knows I'm looking for the hat...maybe I should double check with her ;) Greenwich closes very early, so I'll have to call them tomorrow.

    5. Um, hard to believe they are sold out, I will look today: they were in an odd location, not in sale area at all. They had a lot of them (this design and the other one and the scarves) and I remember thinking it was odd to see such WINTERY stuff hiding away in the store when new arrivals were presented....I will let you know!

    6. Haha, ok! I called (I'm not in CA), and the lady told me really quickly without checking. Anyway, I managed to do a send sale from the Greenwich store today, so fingers crossed that will work out, because I was told the sale stuff is all getting shipped back this weekend. Thanks again, guys!

  2. Very likely, since arrivals will be in the store tomorrow,

  3. Nope. I'm really liking some Madewell stuff more than JC stuff lately. I think it's b/c my lifestyle has gotten so casual d/t me being a SAHM. I did use my Rewards to order the fatigue style jacket from the Factory b/c it's only $108 and a pair of jean shorts (still haven't found a pair!) b/c they are also way more reasonably priced, even if JC had a promo, AND the inseam on the Factory version is longer than the retail. I'll definitely review the items when I receive them!

  4. No visits to the store for me, but I posted sets of my first impression favorites from J.Crew and Madewell on my blog here.

I look forward to reading all the new arrival reviews from ladies who are visiting their local stores this weekend.

  5. I will be going to return the Tartine Satchel. I did a WWFIFY for the blue color last week after a chat assistant told me that it had completely sold out online (despite my never seeing it on the website at all). As we all know, it appeared on the website this week. Anyway, I was sent a black one instead of a blue one. I don't need a black bag. I don't know if I will be re-ordering the blue. No doubt its a beautiful structured bag, but its just really big. Possible a smidge too big for me. Also, vintage navy is supposedly coming out in April, so I may wait for that. Of course, not having seen any of these colors IRL, I'm at a slight disadvantage. Anyway, I will be going to return the bag and hopefully check out some new arrivals.

  6. The hummingbird print is so beautiful, yet frustrating because both the shorts and the pumps are sold out. What's going on? I was told by the online CS that the shorts won't be restocked, and a minute later, the pumps disappear as well. Too bad that I won't be able to fit nicely in the dress.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Hummingbird pumps are back in stock. In my opinion they are hideous. I was hoping for a Valentina, Mona, or evenly silhouette. What a wasted opportunity...as I would have paid full price if the shoe was prettier.

  7. Just going to check out the factory outlet (not going all the way into Seattle for the B&M's as I really only shop sale there)
OT-- was at Superstore this morning and Joe Fresh new arrivals are very "crewish" checkout the jewelery next time your there particularly the necklaces and earings. There are lots of shirts in gingham and layering tees and other tops...all priced well. Enjoy !Carolyn from Vancouver

  8. I don't know if anybody has encountered this yet, but the policy on price matching online for sale merch has changed (recent development with the new year). I have often had a price match done on sale items I found in store because they are usually cheaper online. Or if something is full price in store and on sale online, I would have them price match then get whatever % off promo is running in store on the sale section. They no longer do this. They will match whatever price is online, but even if it is on sale they will no longer apply a % off sale promo that is running in store.

It really bothers me there is such a price discrepancy. The cocoon coat is $325 in store but $229.99 online. That's almost a $100 difference. Insane. Why is it not the same price if it is the exact same merch?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I encountered the exact problem on the exact item a few weeks ago (after new year). At the time, the Cocoon coat was on sale online for $229. The manager at the store was willing to match the online price, but was not even willing apply the additional 40% off that was running online, let alone the store additional 50% off. She said since the price didn't end with .99, it was not on sale, only on promo. And they won't do additional % off on promo. I added the item in my cart online and showed them that I could apply the 40%, they then did the 40% for me, as an exception (according to the manager), but definitely not willing to do the 50% off that's running in the store. Just a couple of days before that, I had no problem doing the online sale price match + store % off at another local store.

      Delete
    2. Lisa, this happened to me at the Palo Alto store last week. I wanted to buy the Nolita Denim jacket which was on promo for $110 plus 40% off online but full price in store. I was told they would honor the promo price but not the 40% off. I was also told the 40% off was only allowed on Final Sale items ending in .99. But online the 40% off worked on the promo price so the jacket was $66 online and $110 in store. : (

      Delete
  9. Lisa, I did not have that experience when I was in the store on Wednesday. I asked if they would price match a necklace that was on sale online. SA said she couldn't find the necklace online so she called from the red phone and they confirmed the necklace was on sale. I got a price match at the register and the additional 50% off (in store promo) was applied as well. I really think it depends what store you go to and what the mood of the SA is when you ask. It shouldn't be that way. Consistency would be wonderful!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Bah! It's so frustrating. Everybody else has been able to do this. I was working with a SA I always work with, who always jumps through hoops to finagle the lowest price for me and has always worked wonders tracking down items and emailing me when sales are happening. He was adamant that it was a new policy and he had to follow it. :( Inconsistency!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

      Delete
    2. Lisa - I believe the matching policy has always been at the store's discretion; not company wide. I'm sorry to hear that. I would be incredibly frustrated.

      Delete
    3. My experience has always been that they will price match the online price, but have to apply whatever the in-store promo is, so if there is 40% online and 50% in store you can get the online price with the online promo, not the online price with the in-store promo, which makes sense to me. It is frustrating though, I hate having to ask for a price match.

      Delete
    4. Lisa, I'd try an online VPS or order from another store and have them ship it to you. It takes more legwork on your part, but worth it for the right price or item! Good luck!

      Delete
  10. Lisa-I wrote about my experience elsewhere, but I got the online price and the 50% off for a coat this week.

  11. I am going to try to stop by tonight. Originally I was told that new arrivals would be out on Saturday but got a call that it would be today. Will try and post reviews of anything I see and/or try on. Not planning on buying anything at full price. OT, but has anyone received their rewards (physical card)? I did not get an email, so plan to call to find out when I should plan to receive.

  12. Probably not - I stopped in on Thursday to see if there were any new spring arrivals but only saw a few minor items, like the linen scarf and cotton tunic. Trying to decide whether to place an order today as today is the last day of the FRIENDGIFT coupon for Canadians.... Does anyone remember J. Crew's track record for offering full price promos in the spring? My memory is fuzzy, I can't recall what happened last spring.

Off topic, I posted my picks for the spring collection on my blog here. I think there's some really beautiful and wearable pieces in this collection, more so than previous collections.

    5. And, I should have mentioned - I did end up using the FRIENDGIFT12 coupon. I ordered the Nolita white denim jacket and the translucent stone necklace. According to my VPS, the jacket is TTS: a size Small has a 37" chest circumference and XS has 35" chest. I went with the Small, as I want to be able to wear shirts underneath it. I will post a review when I get it. I figured I may as well check out the translucent stone necklace at the same time - the frosty pale colour looks very appealing.

I got the translucent stone bracelet, the merino colorblock cardigan in the grey/navy and a white perfect v-neck and the army-style jacket on backorder!

  13. I also stopped in yesterday to make a return. The sale section was quite bare, and they were just starting to put out the new arrivals, so not really much to see. I have a busy weekend so I probably won't make it back to check out all the new arrivals until next week, but I do look forward to hearing reports from JCAs who do go!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I am not going to go. I may go next week when the new items are in, and I can start to figure out what will really work for me and what will not.

Does anyone thing there will be another percent off sale, now that the winter gear will be consolidated online? Does that typically happen?

  15. I stopped by today...couldn't resist but sadly I wasn't wowed. I grabbed the Shoe Scarf, of course, and the bright yellow Liberty cosmetic case but nothing else. The melon No. 2
Pencil skirt is very pale. I was expecting it to be bright like the online pic. The Butterfly shorts fit well in my normal size 8 and are a darker green than I expected. Nothing else really grabbed me which makes my wallet pretty happy.

  23. I went today and tried on lots of new things. I bought the Liberty blazer and the tweed front tee in the pink. LOVE both of them. I didn't think I would like the Liberty blazer but it is very cute on, very well made - the red and white striped piping on the inside makes me happy! It's not faded at all like the Liberty blazer was a couple years ago. I took my usual size in a schoolboy blazer.
The tweed front tee was a surprise love for me. I thought it might be boxy in the front and clingy in the back but it's not. It is very flattering on. The pink in it is the exact same pink as the pink herringbone schoolboy blazer from this winter.
I also got a box of things from the new rollout in the mail today - I didn't love much in the box. I'll review them on Tuesday.

    1. I own the Liberty blazer from a few years ago I have no idea what you're talking about it being faded? the color on mine is saturated and gorgeous!

      Delete
    2. (original) Genny I was thinking the same thing! I have both the Paisley Poem and the floral (don't remember the name) Liberty blazers from a few years ago and though the colours are lighter shades (not bright or dark) they are definitely saturated like you say.. in any case the new one sounds nice so I just hope it makes it to sale (they typically do, I remember getting both of mine for less than $100 on sale and even lingering in the sale section for quite some time... although unfortunately for me it sounds like it's a bit more popular this time around).

      Delete
    3. The one I remember is the floral Rose Vines pattern from a couple years ago. I think "faded" is the wrong word - sorry - but to me it was "paler" because there was much more white in the background, I felt it looked more washed out, maybe just on me, and not as versatile. This new Liberty blazer has much more navy and the colors seem more saturated in real life than appears on my computer screen.

      Delete
    4. Debby that sounds beautiful, good to know that the colours appear more saturated in real life as I won't be able to see it in person. Oh and the Rose Vines blazer wasn't Liberty. You can read the copy from when it was reviewed on this blog:

    5. I found two ebay listings for the Rose Vines blazer that list it as Liberty of London fabric - that's where I got my info from - I googled J Crew Liberty blazer because I couldn't remember the name of the one I that I was thinking of.
Anyway - love the new one and I didn't think I would. :)

    6. The brass buttons on the new 1 our a deal killer for me. I found my tag from my J Crew blazer and the color is listed as CLO. maybe clover? there is barely any white in th background it's pinks ,2 different shades of blue, and olive and a Golden shade

  24. I also stopped this morning and tried a few things: brocade top (fits great and TTS, I was expecting it to be boxy but it is perfect, could maybe be a bit short on some taller ladies); brocade pants (I tried a size up from my regular size and they were slightly roomy but nothing crazy, so I would say they fit tts); toothpicks in the meadow print (skin-tight in my usual size, I would size one up in these); Tilda top (lovely and it looks smashing under a blazer, fits tts). I also saw a silk scarf in the Tresco print (only item in the store from the Tresco mini-collection) and the colors looked wery acid to me (the yellow steers toward green and there is a lot of bright green). I will try to put up pics later.

    1. So funny--I returned a Collection Cashmere sweater in mint this week. In case you got my return--I promise I did not stuff a tissue up the sleeve!

I gave up yesterday and ordered the dotted Chambray shirt from Ebay. I had it in my JCrew basket early in the morning and then as I was checking out, it disappeared. So I finally turned to Ebay, which didn't have such a bad price.

But then this morning, there were some nice sweaters for my husband in stock and I picked up those ($35 a pop) and the Diamond Sweater in mint and navy for myself. Could not resist.

Still hoping for some other kind of promotion after all the stock is sent to SC.

      Delete
    2. OH! Mind if I ask why you returned the mint collection cashmere? Bad quality, color, fit? I have it in caramel, and I liked the fit and quality. Hope the mint is just as good.

I will be on the look out to see if I find any "surprises" in my sweater sleeves. :o) The dotted Chambray shirt is a keeper! Hope you like it!

      Delete
    3. It's a gorgeous sweater. I returned it because it didn't work with my body. I'm pretty flat on top, and I need either more texture, or a V neck, or some kind of pattern to avoid looking like I'm 12 years old (this could, of course, just be my insecurity talking). In a lighter color, crew neck sweaters can look sort of blah on me. That's why I returned the sweater and decided to try the diamond print--a busy pattern should look better. I hope!

I hate that there isn't a 40% off. But honestly, it felt like war every morning trying to check out!

I hope you get the sweater soon--I'm sure you'll love it! It is perfect for spring. And on sale!

    4. Thanks so much for the review and reassurance! I really wanted a mint color sweater, and now I will be ready for spring!

I really like the diamond print as well, but I am a petite that is a bit "busty" on top for my size. Not all prints work on me (or this could just be my insecurity speaking). regardless, it seems like we both got what we wanted!

  28. I stopped in one store last night. The tweed front tee is so cut in both colors. I felt the trim by the neck(no time to try on) and it didn't seem like it would be scratchy. The Merino Sweater in Inky Floral Print is so much prettier in person. The design is on a silk panel so it is richer looking than when they print a pattern on merino. The Liberty scarf is a nice mid weight silk, but quite pricey, and an "eyelash trim" though very common on long scarves is just the cut warp edges of an unfinished scarf. I find those threads can pull relatively easily. And, as I said on my blog, the Lodden in pink Perfect shirt is TDF- although costly as well.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I did stop by last night but too late/tired to try anything on. I agree with KnitYarns the tweed front tee was very nice and the merino sweater were much nicer IRL. The June Meadow print was beautiful in both the shirt and the blazer, I really want something in the this print this season. My B&M does not usually carry collection so nothing in brocade. Saw the butterfly shorts, very short, no shirt though. I did see the new No 2 pencil skirts, they are long, not sure if they come in petite. I actually liked the melon but it is not bright more muted but a dark melon, I thought. The chambray shirtdress was lovely, thinner material to compensate for the long sleeves so you would be able to wear in warmer weather. Loved the Merino sweater with the liberty print collar, much nicer IRL. I rooted around in the Tartine bag and could not find any extras other than a shoulder strap, so think the copy is wrong. My two picks were the Translucent Stone jewelry in bright seaside, they had the bracelet, necklace and earrings and they were beautiful. Not bright at all and the gold is very subtle. The other was the Merino Colorblock Cardigan (85197) in grey mint, that pop of mint was just perfect. I will go back and try some items on next week but really waiting for a promo to actually buy...how about it J Crew????

  31. I did make a trip to J. Crew Factory today over in Limerick PA. I had my $25.00 rewards card and to tell you the truth, nothing wowed me in the recent catalogue/styleguide. Too many pastels. I am not a pastel person. That being said, I ended up purchasing the creamish/beigy lineny schoolboy blazer. I was surprised at how well it fit--it actually fits just as well as my regular schoolboys from the regular J. Crew store. Also picked up a "perfect shirt" in white and a white t shirt. OHHH. I tried on this really cute navy sweater with a red lobster knitted into the front of the sweater. I'm sorry to report that, although the medium was a beautiful fit, the quality of the sweater was less than stellar. For the 78.00 pricetag, it just was not worth it at all. I'm starting to get concerned over the quality of the sweaters as of late. Anyway, that's it!

  32. I picked up the Liberty Blazer ... I love it. It's one of those pieces that you can wear with 1,000 things already in your closet, dressy and casual. That was it for today.

I'm thinking of making my first trip to Madewell. This is an embarrassing question but ... can someone help "explain" Madewell to me? I've never purchased anything from there and I don't quite "get" it ... should I go there? What do you buy there vs. J. Crew? How is it different and the same?

    Sorry to be dense ...

    1. I don't have much luck with Madewell. I've bought jeans, but had to order online because they didn't carry my length (in the Rail Straight) in store. The dresses are too short and high-waisted for me. I have their Archive boots and Skimmer shoes and some of their jewelry. Their tees are fine but usually short, same with their sweaters and shorts. They seem to emphasize their denim (jeans and shirts). The vibe is younger than J. Crew, and it is more casual. I'm a casual dresser for the most part, but I prefer J. Crew.

      Delete
    2. Thanks so much, Cate. Really helpful. One more question ... how does the quality stack up to J. Crew for the items you've purchased? Tees, denim, shoes ...

      Delete
    3. I'm not sure if Madewell was acquired or completely started by Jcrew. I love their denim jeans... I find them much more comfortable than Jcrew. It's been marketed as Jcrew's little sister. Definitely more casual (ie no suiting, etc) but the pieces can be versatile. Though on the whole, it reminds me a bit of Urban Outfitters but higher quality.

      Delete
    4. I have shoes and bags from Madewell, some linen tees, regular pocket ts, a couple dresses (though I agree that the majority are WAY too short and yes highwaisted), and yes to the jewelry. Also, many storyteller scarves! Mostly a sale buyer but not always. They have a lot of pure fabrications (100% wool, silk, linen, cotton). I am mid-50's so while there is a youthful vibe to Madewell, I like a lot of their accessories and accent pieces.

    5. Oh and to address quality: that is why I mentioned the 100% fabrics: i have been pleased with quality!

    6. My understanding is that Madewell was its own company a few decades ago that went out of business. J.Crew bought the rights to the name, but the new Madewell as we know it is completely a J.Crew concept otherwise.

I've been in Madewell a few times (not recently), but nothing quite grabbed me enough. I liked the displays, but every time I got close to the actual items, I thought, 'meh.' Interestingly, they sometimes mix in Madewell items at the J.Crew sample sales, and I could always tell at glance which they were, without having to read the label. But maybe that just means I know J.Crew too well!

    7. I'm shop at Madewell much more than J.Crew. I would say this is because for the most part it's just much more in line with my style (apart from some of the crazy styling of course), the quality is consistent and higher than J.Crew (in the fabrications but also general construction/seams etc.), and it's generally less expensive than J.Crew for the items I want (I'm a strict sales-only shopper and I find it's just easier to score the items I want on sale at MW compared to JC).

Their dresses are short and many of them are the same high-waited style but I find it flattering (I'm also not very tall and I'm in my 20's so...) plus their jeans and shoes are really great quality (and their denim has free shipping and returns always, which is nice). Plus they have some great third-party offerings (like Sessun for example, who made a gorgeous Liberty print corduroy trouser that's on super sale right now and is arriving in my mailbox on Monday.. oddly Liberty isn't mentioned in the copy though).

As for sizing, I find that MW makes jeans/bottoms TTS whereas I have to size up in JC denim and the tops fit similar to JC, although pay attention to the copy! For example, "boyfriend fit" means a whole size bigger and "oversized" means 1-2 sizes up. HTH!

    8. JCAs thanks a bunch. I really appreciate the feedback. I feel much better informed for my pre-Super Bowl shopping trip to Madewell tomorrow. I will report back!

    9. Late getting back, but to answer about quality, I think it is solid. I haven't been disappointed by anything I've bought there.

    10. I have quite a few Madewell items, and I probably would have more if their dresses and skirts were longer. Their jeans are great (free shipping and free returns). Their K-line tees are really good quality. The sweaters I have from there have held up great too.

Hope you find something you like there.

  33. I decided to order the pixilated houndstooth skirt - I will report back when it arrives. Also ordered the feather ring, and a cashmere Tippi in burnished terracotta (I've been hoping that color would pop back!).

    1. I can't wait to hear about the skirt. My store didn't have it today, so it would be awesome to hear how it fits before I try ordering it!

    2. I'd love to hear thoughts on the skirt - really want to order it but am really not sure what size to get and whether or not the large-ish print will overwhelm me (I'm short and slight)

  34. I went today and got the circle-print chambray popover. I wasn't interested in it when I saw the picture online, but in-person it's really cute. I got a size 0, which is the same size I wear in boy shirts. I tried on the shrunken shirt in dot oxford but didn't buy it. The size 2 fit in the shoulders, but the rest of it was kind of boxy and loose from the side. If you have narrow shoulders, you could get your normal boy shirt size and it probably wouldn't be so boxy. I also tried the cotton no. 2 pencil skirt in melon and black. The melon color looked peach to me, and the fit was not great for me (too tight in the 0 and too big in the 2). The last thing I tried was the tippi sweater in heather turquoise. I tried my usual tippi size (XS), and it seemed true to size or a little bit bigger than the solid tippis from this past season. It was really soft, and I loved the color, so I might get it later. I was really hoping to try the pixilated houndstooth skirt, but my store didn't have any.

  35. Just received the Tartine Tote in blossom black. It came with a tiny zip top pouch "wristlet". It has some visible imperfection on the front and looks cheap. The leather is not flat and smooth as if a piece of rope is sealed between leather and lining (it's not but just look that way) so I'll return it. It's cute but it doesn't look like $300 purse.

  36. Yes--I saw a Tartine Satchel at the store on Madison Avenue and was disappointed. It could be a great bag, but somehow it just looks flat to me.

  37. Has anyone tried the Rosie dress?

    1. I tried on the navy Rosie dress. It is cute as can be on top, I love the belled sleeves and the neckline, so flattering. It is scandalously short on me, though. I thought maybe it could be worn as a tunic, but it is somewhat narrow at the bottom, plus I think it is silk and I don't know what you could put under it that would look right. Static was causing it not to hang very nice at the bottom as well. Maybe you could belt it? I don't know... I wanted it to work, though, it was really cute. I didn't see the newer patterned version of it in the store.

  38. I went today with my rewards cards and some leftover gift cards. Got the chambray shirtdress but not sure how I'd style it. Belted? I'm a bit athletically built and busty so I wasn't sure if it looked worse belted and cut off. Also got the brocade capris, they are beautiful and lined. Didn't like the top as much and the pants were better value. Ordered the contessa pumps in the blush color, won't arrive ti Feb 20.

Tried the tweed tee and it is cute and fit tts, just didn't know what I'd do with it so I didn't purchase.

Agree with the recent posts about the Targums satchel. I checked it out bc of the JCA interest, but was not impressed. The leather and quality on some of the other bags is much nicer.

    2. I agree about the Tartine. I saw it in both the two tone and the blue. I didn't care for the leather ( didn't look high quality) and the blue was a bit bright IMO and something I would get quickly tired of.

  41. I went to Tysons - VA store to make a few returns yesterday. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to check out the new arrivals.. But I saw one of the SAs unpacking the beaded rose necklace and I couldn't resist! The necklace is absolutely stunning! I love the bright color, just wish the flowers were a bit smaller, but I think I can make it work with the right outfit. I tried on the bracelet as well and I thought they don't seat well on the wrist. There are only 4 roses and they are the same size as the ones in the necklace, and it didn't look good on my super thin wrist.

OT: does anyone have a Piperlime coupon that they're not using and would be willing to give away? I would love to buy several things there, but will have to slow down if I can't find a coupon. By the way, does anyone know if they send you one on your birthday month? My birthday is next week so maybe I have yet to receive one?

    My email is: nandass99@hotmail.com

Thanks a have a great Sunday!

  43. One thing I did notice which made me sad on my visit to my B&M this Friday. This year's flip flops appear to be really stiff, not Made in Italy..they look much more like the Factory ones. I love J Crew leather flip flops so I am hoping this is not the way the retail ones will all be. Has anyone noticed the same thing?

  47. Hi can anyone help with respect to the sweater colours lemon pulp and mango (collection cashmere v neck). Are they pale/pastel colours IRL or bright and saturated? I haven't seen these colours in store. I don't like neon colours (say, like, neon kiwi) so I'd love any info from JCAs that might have purchased tippi or tippi cardi in lemon pulp. Is it a soft yellow? I have the Jackie cardigan in golden sun which is a dark yellow and I'd like something paler this time. I don't like yellows with too much green in them if that makes sense.

    1. Hi dagmara, I ordered the merino boyfriend sweater in lemon pulp. It is an acidic pale greenish yellow - very bright but not quite neon. I am not sure if the cashmere will be the same.

  48. Until someone chimes in re cashmere--I got the Cambridge turtleneck in lemon pulp because of the color (and price). I LOVE it. I know what you mean about green-yellows--that's why I didn't get the kiwi stripe cashmere boatneck sweater this year. The lemon pulp is a true, daffodil yellow--just gorgeous and happy. I can't wait to go out with a pair of patterned jeans and big old sunglasses tomorrow. The lemon pulp sweater is a *happy* sweater.

  49. Okay--I went back and looked at the site. The Cambridge sweater comes in "sweet lemon" and not "lemon pulp." I'm so sorry-I meant to help but see that perhaps I just added to the confusion. I'm terribly sorry.

  50. Oh, I am relieved. I had visions of the wrong kind of yellow (I mean--I remembered the "lemon" part, but got the wrong lemon . . . ) and felt terrible. I meant well but you know . . . best laid plans . . . anyway.
