  2. Any advice on how to get back on the Crew mailing list? I’ve been a customer for 20+ years and still order but have received no emails last 6months or so. Customer service can’t help, have subscribed many times, not in spam folder. Seems like others have had this issue. Any ideas?

Add a dot anywhere in the name of the email before the @

  3. I ran in to my Jcrew store to pick up an order. I had ordered the TIE-WAIST STRAIGHT-LEG PANT IN HONEY PLAID ITALIAN WOOL Item BA237
Size: 6 Color: HONEY BROWN. Since they were final sale, I had them shipped to the store so I could try them on. My review: these ran big on me. Maybe I should try the petite 6 because they are also longer than the cropped pants I usually wear but they would not need hemming. I’m not sure if a size regular size 4 would work or not. I have been a solid size 6 to 8 lately at Jcrew so I was surprised that these fit so baggy in the legs with my larger thighs. The pants are supposedly all wool except for a little bit of elastane but they are definitely not a flannel feeling wool. Almost didn’t feel like wool at all. They are fully lined. I didn’t have enough sense to snap a picture. I was pressed for time and will go back later but the store had 40% off regular and an extra 60% off clearance if anyone is out and about. Does anyone know if there are more rollouts for 2021?

    1. Yep! CS said the next roll-out is on 11/29! I am hoping for more jewel tones in orchid and chartreuse!

  4. PSA: the magic hour was back ! When I checked the website Tuesday morning around 9 am CET / 3 am EST the previous promo prices were still in effect while the new promo of 40% off also worked. I was able to order the corduroy blazer BA487 for around $90. A bit later the price flipped back to $278.
I was actually waiting for it to go on sale as I found it to be relatively lightweight so not suitable to wear as a jacket, wouldn’t pay full price for it.

  5. I hadn't made a J.Crew purchase in 6 months, primarily because our local store closed and I was having too many issues with inconsistent sizing. I placed two orders last week, and I'm 0 for 2 with them.

The first was a pair of the olive green suede MacAlister boots, where I bought the last pair in my size 13--or so I thought. Yesterday was the 4th day with no shipping confirmation, so I called into CS. "The status is *released,* which means they are getting packaged for shipping," I was told. Great!

Today I received the dreaded "We wish we had more stock...your order has been cancelled" email.

Thing 2: UPS just dropped off a shirt I purchased along with the aforementioned boots, and I opened the package to find the wrong shirt stuffed inside the correctly-marked plastic bag. Of course now it's sold out on the website, and the stores are telling me it's an online-only item.

Now I remember why I stopped buying from this company back in the spring.
