  2. A follow up love/review:
A month or so ago I ordered Relaxed-fit garment-dyed lightweight cotton poplin shirt
    Item AY728
In the icy orchid and kiwi colors. I got a 6 so I had plenty of shoulder room and can tuck or tie the waist.
I brought them on a little vacation and have worn to lunch with shorts and a cotton bandana (ratti or Liberty prints I think) and to the beach club over a Black bikini with the eco paddle shorts and those tretorn mesh sneakers. I love how the bandana adds a little style element and The whole look makes me feel very put together.
I packed pretty light so I’ve reworn the orchid shirt both days at the beach club but swapped out the bandana. When my husband saw me in the kiwi (which is more of a chartreuse) he was surprised at the color but really liked it. Chartreuse makes me look like death lol so the black floral print bandana helps with that too.
My bandanas and silk scarves work really hard for me! I hope they have more this season.

    1. I have the kiwi color shirt and I like it too. Now it's a bit too cold at home, but I wore it a number of times on warmer days over bike shorts or leggings and a sports bra for 'at home' casual. I ordered my usual 6 and found it roomy, so yours must be very full on you and good for a cover-ep.

    2. It’s roomy but not too big in the shoulders. I guess from all my weight training my shoulders have gotten broader. I like the fit and the airy cotton!

  4. Sort of a "love": I think it was Lynn who mentioned using a JC return label that went to North Carolina, and that it was received and credited very quickly. I just did the same thing with the elephant tuxedo pants, and it was a matter of two days. I had so many problems when returns were going to Pennsylvania. On a few occasions, they didn't even credit everything that was in the return shipment.

That was why I would save up my returns and drive two hours to the store in Richmond, VA to return things. The upside of this journey is that I got to know the lovely staff there much better. There are several things I can accomplish in that location (i.e. things I can't get in my small town), so I've come to appreciate the day trip.

I'm putting together my little Christmas gifts for them and will probably go over there next week before things get too crazy.

  5. I'm re-posting from the other day...

I received the Curved cable-knit sweater
Item BD146 in both Heather Charcoal and Heather Stone. I love it and can't decide which color to keep. It's a good length on me (5'4"), not quite cropped. It's roomy in the arms and shoulders and a normal fit in the body. Help, which color to keep? Does anyone else have this sweater?

    1. I sort of ignored this because of the lambs wool but it’s very pretty. Do you find it itchy? Re color I feel like the stone feels more casual and charcoal is an easy choice for me but I also tend to prefer darker colors. Ok ease report back.

    2. I didn't think it was itchy, but the content is 70% polymide and 30% lambswool. The Heather Stone one is definitely softer than the Heather Charcoal one. I'll let you know what I decide!

    3. Now that I know it's polymide, I'm not so sure... I usually like cotton or wool. Does anyone have experience with polymide? The sweater seems very nice, I wouldn't have guessed if I didn't read the tag.

    4. Polyamide is nylon. I have an Everlane sweater that is cotton with maybe 30 percent nylon and it actually looks and feels great. The Nylon stops it from stretching out the way some chunky cotton sweaters do, and the dye hasn’t faded. It retains it shape. I’m not sure about mostly nylon but I don’t mind a little.

    5. Thanks Suz! I'm going to keep one of them. The content didn't bother me until I read what it was, so I think I will like it. The shape of this sweater is really cute, good proportions.

    6. Follow up... I'm keeping the Heather Stone color. You can see the cables better and it's softer and I think the more casual color is more my vibe. Thanks for the input!

    7. Enjoy and wear it in good health, as my mom would say!

  6. Everlane sent a 20 percent off code. There are a few sweaters I like but decided against, but I did order the Way High drape pant. I figured if the fit and quality works it’s always a good idea to have a great pair of full length, high waisted black pants in my arsenal and my banana pair from last winter, my current faves, are already looking tired.
