Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. I went yesterday to try and see if I could find something to try on. Not very enticing. The sale section was tiny and everything look tired. Nothing really caught my eye. I did ask a salesperson about final sale when you cannot try something on, and he advised that I call online and see if they will waive final sale. I'm debating but will kick myself if the item drops again. Right now it's about 60% off. (188 -- >168.99 --> 84.99). I feel like I saw the dress for 67.49 once but cannot remember.

  2. Snagged the Margot sweater dress in stripe (AY628) this morning. No reviews, but with sale discount, teacher discount and rewards it was $6. It’s cotton and machine washable so fingers crossed it works out.

Considering also grabbing the knit pencil striped skirt (L7578). Reviews are good, but all over the place for sizing. Anybody have this and can give insight?

  3. Hi all
Jcrew card is a big fraud! Check your statement! Last 2 month I been charged finance fee. I would always pay it full. But would call and ask for my balance because off returns! I am going to call them now! Will update you!
I think I may close it! I don’t see any benefits and just a hassle!

    1. So I got credited but it was a nice gesture because of confusion. Basicly they want you to pay full balance regardless of returns and then they will issue credit 3-5 days. I don’t want to pay for items I returned. That’s insane. But that’s the way it works! So this month I have to pay $700 even though I owe under $300. Just to avoid finance charges!

    2. that’s why I closed my Brooks Bros account. Also complained to Better Business Bureau. Thieves.

  4. I got rid of the J Crew card and realized it doesn't really save you money. I get free shipping as a rewards member and 4-5% using my capitalone visa.

    2. Huh. Aren’t there sometimes card member only promos? I’ll be honest for me it’s more of a convenience thing. Ive definitely bought less this past spring and summer and if the current offerings are any indication I will buy even less this fall.

    3. I think I am frustrated with credit card company! Pts commenity and they don’t make any sense. So I am just absolutely frustrated that I have to pay full statement balance and wait for my money to come back so I can avoid finance charge

    5. @kate the Talbots card does the same thing They sent me a notice about the new policy if you don’t pay the full amount you will be charged a finance charge. I don’t know how this can be legal. I’ve also noticed it takes longer for a return to be credited on my account close to statement date.

    6. Just don’t use it. At some point, someone will alert a brilliant Senator to this scam. There’s a clear financial benefit to the bank and the merchant to having the merch but taking a long time to credit you for it, and getting money you don’t owe them.

      Delete
    7. I had no idea this was a new policy! Thanks for the warning!

    8. Agree w Lynn and Fred. Don’t use it. I have the card, haven’t used it in at least two years. The terms are terrible and cardholder benefits are minimal at best. My last memory of a rare cardholder discount was maybe 15 or 20% off. I’ve considered cancelling it - we’ll see how 2021 goes purchase-wise.

  5. I place an order every month or so; only once did the CardLove promotion apply (and I got DH to place the order). Other than that, I haven't seen any Cardholder only promotions. Plus my credit card gives me cash back and they have this feature that supposedly gives you money back if the price goes down. I don't know if that works as I haven't tested it. Other than that, because I am a j Crew rewards member, I still get a tiny reward (maybe you get more if you are cardholder, but I haven't been spending a bunch). It's great not to have to deal with the bill.

    1. Can I ask which card provides this benefit? I had a card that used to offer this, but stopped several years ago. I miss this as a feature to avoid some companies pricing games.

    2. I've never had a problem like this with Amex and Visa. I've also never had a J.Crew card because I didn't see the need for one. Seems that each time I call CS, they try to get me to open one. No thanks.

  6. I’ve warned time and time again previously here about the thievery of Comenity Bank and the J.Crew Credit Card. Do not apply for one, don’t use it if you have one. No advantage of having this card. It’s psychological warfare. Trying to dispute something will take up hours of your time. They have different tiers of so-called supervisors. Their arrogance is despicable. Check your credit reports for misinformation. Complain to BBB. There are plenty of excellent credit cards out there that offer great benefits and are more proactive for you as a consumer if you have any disputes.

  9. Visited JCrew, Nordstrom, gap, banana and lululemon today, mostly for returns but at banana and lululemon wanted to try on pants I saw online.
Banana was oddly empty of merchandise.
JCrew sale was 30 off and minimal selection. I didn’t see anything in either store I wanted to try, though I noticed a mannequin wearing new jeans at JCrew.
Lululemon was the only place with a long line but didn’t have what I wanted to try.

I did order jeans today from G-star and Everlane. I’m not liking the fit of anything lately so will only try places with free shipping and free/easy returns so I can try multiple sizes.

  11. I just received this from the little birdie:
Our September rollout will debut online on Tuesday, August 24th! We're really excited about the new collection and I wanted to give you a heads up on what to expect.

Fall is on the horizon - we transition our palette to soft autumnal hues and bring back the herringbones and plaids we know and love. Our design teams utilized several styling themes when brainstorming the collection that help marry our big ideas together.

Our four central themes for September are:

Neutral Sweater Dressing: We want wearing head-to-toe knitwear to feel ultra put together and just simply lovely thanks to our focus on "shades of" palettes.

Cashmere as a Lifestyle: Every season is cashmere season for us. No matter the climate in your town or what your lifestyle is, we have a style for you from morning coffee, to work, to nights on the town.

Luxe Casual: Never compromise comfort - it's all about soft and luxurious fabrics in silhouettes that flow off the body. Comfortable styles that feel dressed-up.

The New Street Style: Everything feels a little more relaxed - but when you pull together dressed-up pieces and complement with knits and sweaters - it always feels elevated.

September styling is all about assembling the to work-from-home to going-out transitional outfit. Comfy fabrics like cashmere, merino, and shearling are applied to comfy silhouettes like sweaters, jumpsuits, kimonos, and even blazers, jackets, and ponchos! Our outerwear collection also officially ramps up.

Be on the lookout for familiar styles done in unconventional ways, like a cashmere bra, and a stretch denim suit. Speaking of suiting, you'll also see a new suiting cut for women, done in a slightly more street-inspired way, along with an updated fabric.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Perhaps I’m jumping to conclusions but I’m not too optimistic about this. Do we really want a cashmere bra?😂 I personally would like to see a new Collection. Real Collection as in Old Jcrew.

    2. There are some words that make me think there is going to be very few (if any) tailored pieces: "silhouettes that flow off the body"; "a little more relaxed";"work from home"; "comfy silhouettes"; and "ponchos."

    3. With you 100% on Collection, Lynn! When I see “relaxed, comfy, street style” descriptors used multiple times in one paragraph, I know this won’t be it!

    4. The Khaite cashmere bra-and-cardigan was a thing in 2020 when Katie Holmes & Rihanna wore the same set.

I don't like hand-washing fussy woollens (and I don't like splurging on dry cleaning often) so I'm not big on cashmere anything.

  13. Thank you Lynn! My first thoughts:

Neutral Sweater Dressing - I do not want "head to toe knitwear" in "comfy silhouettes" (too relaxed).
Cashmere as a Lifestyle - I do not want flowing "off the body" (too relaxed).
Luxe Casual - "flow off the body" (too relaxed).
The New Street Style - "Everything feels a little more relaxed" (need I say more?)

I do not want any "work-from-home to going-out transitional outfit(s)" in "comfy silhouettes". I am a middle aged woman, not a toddler. Come to think of it, I even dressed my toddler in wovens as opposed to knits. Am I the only one? I think they are really missing the mark here. Is leisure wear and stretch waist still the big seller? WHO IS WEARING A CASHMERE BRA????? Does Katie Holmes shop at Crew now? She already has one!

    3. MaryG., non-words hurt my teeth as well. “Crispy” and “crunchy” top the list. Recently got a bulletin from my electric company, from which I learned that localized outages are on the way to restoral.

For years I’ve indulged in the belief that J.Crew’s copy, and indeed many designs, are transmitted from another universe far away.

    4. Fred, aren't you the originator of the Copywriter From Outer Space moniker? That's one of the all-time best descriptors here. I will agree with your two words and add "yummy" as well. I'm also none too fond of pants as "pant." I picture a big dog with its mouth open drooling.

    6. Hi, MaryG, yes, it is I. I’m also responsible for the nicknames Dear Leader and Countess Knockoff. I also report periidically the horrified reactions of The Great Tasteful Female Ancestor in the Sky (she remembers that Cupro is a form of rayon developed to be a lining, so if you are wearing a Cupro dress you look like your clothes are inside out). 16. This is my last post for day. Have you noticed the expressions on the majority of the model’s faces?
I see reluctance, unhappiness, what the heck am I doing here and boredom. The models from years back certainly exuded a different air and led me to go all out on a buying spree. Is it just me? I’m a Cancer and over sensitive and no, you won’t hurt my feelings. This is simply my perception at the moment.

    2. The models in the old catalogs looked like they were having fun and that made me want to buy the clothes. They were with friends or family or kids usually on an adventure somewhere. It's hard to compare now to then, since I don't get a J. Crew catalog any more, but the models online don't have that vibe at all. Their catalogs used to tell a story. Now they're just showing clothes. I think this is a big part of where they went wrong.

      Delete
    3. I agree with all of the above. I have found that some of the models detract from the clothing--especially when they have them in a weird pose. I thought that bit with a model holding part of her shirt in her mouth was ridiculous. At this point, I would find the clothes more appealing if they just put them all on mannequins with views of front, sides, and back.

  17. All of the above descriptions sound like code for "drab and shapeless". And with the decline in quality of their textiles over the years since Italian cashmere went away, probably "itchy" as well.

  18. Got my $6 (with rewards and discount codes) Margot striped sweater dress today (AY628). It’s as pictured with an ivory colored body and lighter (not quite navy, more cobalt) stripes. I have a similar dress from Fall 2020 (AR660). In comparison, this year’s design is a lighter weight and solely cotton, so machine washable. It feels cut in at the sides (more body hugging) but not overtly so. I took my regular size (M - at 5’6” and 140ish). It has no leg slits and ends around upper/middle calf on me. I like it a lot and it’s definitely a clearance keeper for me!

  19. It’s not just JCrew credit that does some less-than-ethical things with returns/cancellations. I ordered three pairs of jeans from Everlane and they canceled one size. Rather than credit my original form of payment I noticed a credit on my account. Uh, nope. That’s not how it goes. I will contact CS and ask them to credit my PayPal or credit card instead. I’ve never had an issue with Everlane CS and I’m sure I’ll spend it soon enough but that’s not how it should be.

    1. I have found Nordstrom to be very slow to credit. I have had to call on several occasions, and then they have someone get back to me. At that point, they usually credit my account. Seems that many retailers want to keep our money for as long as possible. No.

      Delete
    2. the way Everlane handles returns/exchanges is so perplexing. I ordered a trench from them a few years back and it had a sewing flaw in the sleeve. I emailed CS about getting another one. I sent back the damaged one, they sent me a new one, which they charged me for (!!!) and then put a credit on my account for the 1st coat. WTH?

      Delete
    3. I emailed through the website and they responded almost immediately and will do the refund to original payment.

      Delete
    4. Watch out with Nordstrom! I ordered something and the price went down. They refused to do a price adjustment. So I tried to return and rebuy and when I returned the higher priced item they credited me the lower price and said they don't allow returns and rebuys!

      Delete
    5. That’s crazy. I think I read about that here.

  20. Not JCrew and New to me: tried the G-Star RAW c-staq 3D boyfriend crop and love them. Ordered a few more sizes and washes as I think I want them a bit longer. (I ordered a 30” inseam and they are shorter, maybe they measure these from a different point). I told someone today they are like MC HAMMER pants meet jeans. Definitely not a look for everyone but I tried them a few ways and feel they will work really well for me.

Also ordered a very cool pair of Camper boots from Nordstrom. I’ve been wanting a chunky chelsea boot but not doc martens. These are black with a red sole and come in a few more muted colors. I have had a few pairs of Camper boots about 15 years ago and wore them a ton and sold them. I had seen a few much more expensive brands Showa black boot with a chunky red sole and loved the look. Figured it was worth a shot.

I haven’t liked much I’ve tried lately so I’ll be happy with a different pair of jeans and funky boots.

    1. “Select stores” translates to larger stores and of course Jcrew screwed up again minus the “find in store” feature. With shipping logistics being upside down with most retailers, they have had to list much of their inventory online. Saves them $$. There continue to be delays which isn’t the company’s fault but Jcrew should make it easier for people to view the feature and have an idea where to purchase. Another negative these days is there is a shortage of drivers, workers etc. overall and it’s not for lack of jobs. Go figure

      Delete
    2. I was wondering about that too. I liked being able to search to see what the B&m had in stock so I could support the local store whenever possible. I found it was pretty accurate and rarely had an issue with an item showing available if it was not in stock at the store.

  27. waiting for a new promo this morning...and yay, it went from 30% off to 30% off! thrilling! Except some things I was contemplating went to final sale, even better. One top -- the mariner cloth tank top (BA389) I've been wanting since it was a new arrival, but there is only one review and the reviewer said the material pilled horribly. It's an all cotton top, so that just stinks. So I keep waiting for more reviews but there are none. Still, am expecting some kind of big end of summer sale-on-sale after Labor Day.

  28. My humble opinion is that most items are too much on the casual side, colors continue to be too muted for my taste and either cropped or oversized with those crazy elasticized waist. (Even Chanel has them)Blazers are ok and I do like the oversized style, always have. The cashmere oversized tee would be nice without the pocket. Jcrew’s older somewhat oversized open cardigans from 2014-2015 are much nicer and mine are in excellent condition so I won’t purchase any of the newer styles. I do like the cashmere slippers in the pink and will order later. Over here, and I’ve previously mentioned this, there are colors which are far more vibrant and I continue to see beautiful greens, pinks and blues and prints. In fairness I haven’t viewed everything on the website so perhaps I’ve missed something of interest. I’m missing the Heather Silver cashmere color if anyone remembers this one. Hope everyone finds something they like/dislike and posts here.

    1. Lynn, I agree with you about too many things being casual. I am very disappointed in skirts and pants because of the elastic waist. I just don't do that.

I like that some of the blazers are made of nice wool fabric--not that I need more of them. I wouldn't want any of the shoes I saw. The croc embossed handbag looks like it might be nice. I sure do miss the Drakes silk scarves with hand-rolled edges. Loved those prints!

The leopard trench looked interesting, but I would want it fully lined. Also, JC's trenches always look so short-waisted. That doesn't work for me.

    2. @Lynn, Maybe they think we all got a bit sloppier during lock-downs? I agree the colors are still very quiet. I will not likely be adding anything.

      Delete
    3. I am also wondering if the colors shown on the website are really true to life. Sometimes everything looks like it has a washout filter on it lately.

      Delete
    4. Some of the tie waist wool pants make the butts of the models look really bad.

      Delete
    5. ST agree those are bad.
And what’s with so many models wearing those Birkenstock clogs? I had those a dozen years ago and got rid of them because they were just so fugly.

      Delete
    6. I feel like they are a year late with some of these offerings. The Peggy Jean is similar to the balloon cut seen everywhere or arc Jean from Everlane which was released last year. I just got similar from G star raw but they are more oversized and don’t feel so specifically late 80s/early 90s like these which remind me of Gap jeans we wore back then.
I like two cashmere sweaters, the Mockneck puff sleeve, but not any of the colors offered. Berry looks too pink for me and there’s no black.
The sleeveless cashmere tunic says 29” length which I know from experience is not as long as it’s shown on the model where it looks like a dress. I bet she’s wearing that way oversized. 29” is a weird length though, I wish it was a normal length that could be partially tucked.
The half zip, I didn’t even look at. That was the sweater of the year last year I think and I got one from Everlane which I almost sold but since it’s a thick wool, decided to hold onto it.
Boots are so many repeats. How many Roxie or CAPTOE boots can we have? This has to be the third or fourth season. I liked them with skinny jeans but got rid of all of mine.

Still figuring out which is better wool wash, or perhaps quick wash! I don’t think they need to laundered for an hour… and that’s wool wash! But I got the science down to no shrinkage and no staining of black or blue on my pinks 😂 I ruin a few sweaters so learn as I go…, lol 😂
I also been using the cashmere shampoo for my masks washing’s… works great and sells nice.
I realize I need 1-2 clean mask per day for face control…, especially in summer ..,

  30. I am just about done with J. Crew. Hardly ever see anything I like. No more beautiful patty dresses, nothing cool at all. Madewell is almost as bad. I don't think I will be keeping my Crew card or Madewell "Icon" status. The Instagram ads alone are terrible.

  31. I really want to order from JCrew, but, no promos in Canada and the items (IMO) are over priced. I miss shopping with them, no Canadian stores, no promos for us in Canada. So my money went to The Bay and some great Polo Ralph Lauren items. Much as I loved (yes past tense here) JCrew; both Polo and Todd Snyder have been getting my business.

  33. I just saw this gorgeous coat and thought of how J.Crew could do a version of something like it for a "Collection" piece:

    https://www.bergdorfgoodman.com/p/andrew-gn-floral-brocade-pearl-trim-long-coat-prod165930056?childItemId=BGB6HE5_&navpath=cat000000_cat593903_cat623102_cat437005&page=0&position=6&uuid=PDP_PAGINATION_a21c45fbee03c39597b91e2fcb76d32d_WpioMvNxatM0YUYZfKeidwp4mXCijxpzjIn2k-AS.jsession

Did anyone else here see the television program on J.Crew with an extensive interview with M. Drexler? It was several years ago, and I always remember that he made some statement about wanting J.Crew to be like Bergorf-Goodman (although not as expensive).

    Memories....

    1. Gorgeous coat! Yes old jcrew could have made a similar version for their collection line.

    2. @MmeJacqueline, thank you for sharing, it’s beautiful. It would have been nice if J.Crew could/would have this coat replicated and manufactured, however I think it would still be quite expensive to do so. I have seen a few of these style coats over here but I wonder if there would be a market for the same type of coat under a Jcrew line.Could they sell enough of therm in today’s market and demographics to make profit?

    3. Such a gorgeous coat! I probably would have no place to wear it in the near future but it would bring me joy looking at it in my closet!

      Delete
    4. Well, I must admit that, at this point in my life, that coat would only "serve" my fantasy. There was a time, but that's over and done, and I'm okay about it.

Lynn is right that there is a limited market for it a coat like that, but perhaps in the past they could have done a "limited edition collection"--something like that. I guess they think the market is wanting drab and shapeless clothes. What they are offering is so unappealing to me.

I'm getting tired of the word, "relaxed." Perhaps I would rather be "tense" when it comes to clothes!

      Delete
    5. @MmeJacqueline, Agree with you about the fantasy part and quite frankly although something like this is a beautiful piece I wouldn’t purchase this due to where I am in life. I too, would rather be “tense” than relaxed. As @pbanos remarked perhaps they want us to dress sloppier. For daily wear I will stick with the classic look, “real” shoes, sneakers, etc, and for dress up some of the old Jcrew vintage items from a Long time ago and high end items. Sad the way the company has headed south on all fronts.

      Delete
    6. @Shopping Celle, you could purchase it hang it in your closet for 30 days and return it. Fantasy accomplished🤣

    7. It does remind me a bit of a Collection skirt from a couple seasons back. The turquoise brocade.

      Delete
    8. I feel like coats like this, similar to a brocade blazer, can also work well to dress up jeans. A few years ago I got the Daisy floral brocade blazer and it was my spring dinner uniform with distressed jeans, a silk top and heels.

I haven’t been wearing blazers lately so I passed it on for my daughter to enjoy. So…obviously I’m not really in the market for such a piece.

      Delete
    9. @Lynn and P.Banos: I was wondering if JC's thinking was that most people during the Covid months gained weight and became accustomed to putting on only "relaxed and comfy" things. Perhaps they think that people wanted to continue along those lines rather than being eager to dress up a bit more and go somewhere--anywhere! Can't explain all of the drab colors and lack of fun prints unless they believe that we're depressed.

Okay, I've never been drawn to sweats, "athleisure," and pull-on anything, so these garments are just not what I would purchase. I would rather wear my uptight blazers and fantasize about this beautiful coat.

Also, I've heard that a number of people will continue to work from home, so pull on the pull-ons.

    10. @MmeJacquelineandpbanos, I believe you’re both correct. Same thighs here. Won’t be caught dead in them though. Not my style.

    11. Complete typo error here. I was thinking the same thing about weight gain and staying in. Makes sense. While at home for lounging around I understand why some people would wear this type of apparel but I wouldn’t. Not my cup of tea.

    12. That is a gorgeous coat for sure. I miss the days of JC Collection. Even when I couldn't afford it I liked looking at it. Just got married 3 months ago, my wedding dress was an OLD collection dress called Gwen. I was saving it- it was from 2009
The new roll out looks very sad and depressed to me. While I understand during COVID 2020 people stayed home and only wore sweats. I wore my same clothes. Why not? This doesn't make me a hero, just saying. Why do so many pants have drawstrings, reminds me of what toddlers wear. Sounds like this girl needs to find a new clothing company! LOL

  34. Cashmere joggers sound sweaty, no thanks. Same to all cashmere pants. Plus they pill and I assume would look terrible after a wear or two. Then the washing is a pain. I don't understand, is there demand for this? And a cashmere bra sounds all kinds of uncomfortable in any season.

    1. I own several cashmere joggers and leggings! Not sweaty at all. It’s not polyester! But there is little work involved! They wash great separately on cold with cashmere shampoo. They do need a little brush around them for piles. If COVID taught me anything is that I want to look and feel good at home. So I love having my little luxuries even to hand out or sleep in.
I think once you try the cashmere pants it’s hard not to wear them. I put them on ASAP after work and it’s instant softness and comfort!!

    2. I get hot, I don't think I could wear them, Kate. And I don't have the patience for the maintenance, however minimal. I'm glad you enjoy them though, lots of new options for you in this rollout!

    3. I’m usually Cold in my house so I wanted cashmere joggers or sweats for quite awhile. Settled on the merino cotton ones from crew a few seasons ago and loved them but they pilled so badly I tossed them.
I still like the idea of not wearing junky sweats and wear wool and cashmere sweaters around the house to stay warm. I’d get cashmere bottoms if I could. I wash my jcrew cashmere hoodie on delicate and it’s been fine with minor pilling but I expect pants would pill more.

  38. I haven't worn my schoolboy blazers in a couple of years as blazers were trending longer, but seeing shorter (or at least, same length as the sleeve) blazers returning, will be happy to break out my schoolboys which fit me perfectly, are all wool and have wonderful satiny lining.
Noticed in new arrivals liberty tie waist top in honeysuckle floral (BA880) looks like you wear in untucked and then tie the little string at the waist to give it some shape? But the model pic is with the item tucked in! Rendering the string useless. I don't like the neck ruffle anyway, but was curious how it looked (presumably) as intended, with the waist pulled in. Bizarre styling choice to photograph it tucked in only.

    2. @MmeJacqueline, I find it true as well. She was so ahead of her time. A few years ago I was looking for Jcrew’s Collection English Tweed Lady Jacket. The original price was $495.00. I purchased it brand new off EBay for $60.00. The moment I wore it out and about friends assumed it was a new Chanel, including one who works for Van Cleef and Arpel. Assumed it was a new limited edition! @pbanos purchased the same. One of the best items J.Crew items I’ve ever purchased.

  42. Do we think J.Crew is going to have a good Labor Day sale? I'm not a student or a teacher so this week's promos are doing nothing for me. I've got my eye on a few items that have been hanging around at insanely high prices for months now (available in all sizes). Can't pull the trigger knowing that there may be a big markdown soon.

  44. Hi everyone. I made a couple of big orders - some things for me and some for my kiddos. For me, not much I’m keeping.

Going back: 1) Liberty sea blossom dress. I really like the print but the elastic is so tight on my arms. And the cut is a paper bag. 2) black/white stripe poplin dress. Love the fabric and cut of the dress but the colors are off. The white is actually a silver gray and I’m not a fan of black and gray together. 3) chambray ruched neck dress. Same cut as the Liberty dress - just so unflattering. 4) plaid bias cut skirt. I sized up as I usually do with slim bottoms to account for my pear shape. But that didn’t work this time because the waist was way too big and the elastic in the waist really doesn’t hold its shape. Cute pattern though.

Maybe: 1) relaxed fit cotton poplin buttons down in light blue. I sized down and still quite oversized but I tried the top on with a few skirts and it reminds me of crew years of yore.

Keep: 1) classic fit ruffle neck button down in stripe. Love this! Even though I have the same top from a few years ago, this top is cut longer and better for me with pants. My husband said this morning: “How will you remember which top is for skirts and pants?” I just laughed! I know my clothes so well, lol! 2) Camille sweater blazer in black. Love this blazer so much, I now have three colors!

Thinking of ordering the long lightweight puffer jacket in rust after seeing it on jillgg on insta. Looked super cute and I think it would be a perfect fall coat!

I hope future rollouts are better. Haven’t been too impressed so far :(

    1. I liked the look of the long puffer jacket in rust too but I also liked the lady puffer jacket. Since I’m very tall, I’ll probably go with the former but the lady jacket looks nice too. I worry that the latter will be too short and too wide.

    2. I got the black coccon coat at end of last season for a steel! I think it was $35. Obviously have not worn it. Sizing was an ordeal! Xs swallowed me.
Xxs was too small in the hips. I ended up with petite small which fits well! I hate to winter so I hate to say I can’t wait to wear it! lol
