Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. No store visit for me but we did have an outdoor 85th birthday party for my dad. It was perfect weather and because I haven’t dressed up much (cough at all cough) decided to wear the banana sequin pants, JCrew tuxedo blazer and JCrew tuxedo popover with black buttons (recent purchase during one of the huge sales) with white star Stella McCartney elyse sneakers and an older long sequin scarf from crew. I grabbed a red bag and red cat eye sunglasses (last year JCrew).
It was such a fun outfit and oddly enough we ran into friends walking enroute (we were driving) and we all enjoyed a laugh about never dressing up anymore.
Trinny Woodall just posted a pair of sequin trousers she had cropped to ankle length and since mine aren’t long enough for platforms maybe I will consider it but prob no one besides me will care.

I hope everyone in the NY Area enjoyed the gorgeous weather this weekend.

    1. Love it. I wore vary similar outfit recently - the J Crew tuxedo blazer & the BR sequin pants. But I just wore a plain black silk shell underneath and J Crew black suede heels with a patent toe cap.

We played 18 holes of golf in Florham Park on Saturday.

    2. Your outfit was like the grown up version of mine! What a fabulous day it must have been on the course. My plan is to learn to golf eventually!

    4. Thanks for mentioning Trinny’s Instagram account, Suz. I definitely want to follow her. I used to love her show but I haven’t thought of her in years. She’s fun even though I don’t necessarily agree with her advice. I feel like she spends a lot of time worrying about imaginary faults, like her “fat” legs.

    5. Her style is definitely a bit over the top but she has fun with it. I find her entertaining for sure, but take what she says about anything with a grain of salt.

  2. I need to make a return this weekend - still can't figure out the riddle of the Camerons in different colors. I guessed I would need a size up but turns out I didn't ... or maybe I just need 0.5 size up? Not entirely sure. But I spent the weekend taking my mom for second vaccine dose and looking at apts with my cousin and aunt who are buying a place in my neighborhood, and I actually got my butt up early enough for a run before meeting up with them. It was a glorious weekend in NYC, and all the people outdoor dining and walking around the streets gave me optimism that things can be back to normal in a few months here.
