Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. So I played the wait it out game on some sale items because of the no more price adjustments on sale items policy hoping for a better discount for the 4th. Well sale is now 50% off but everything in my cart is final sale. There is no way I am spending a decent amount of money on something that cannot be returned. Especially with the mixed reviews and fit/sizing issues. If I would have pulled the trigger on Saturday the Crew would have gotten some money. Now they won't get any. At this point my spending there is almost non existent and that is ok. I have more than enough to mix and match in my closet.

    3. Same, I, still waiting for two small orders where I ordered multiple sizes just in case so I will already have some returns.
I was considering trying the satin crepe wrap dress for an upcoming event, but not at final sale.
The only other items of interest I wanted to try were the belt bags so I might see if they have any in store.

    4. same here. Not biting on FS especially since it's not a huge discount given they actually raised prices on a bunch of items overnight. I have two orders outstanding and IF they were here in time for me to be able to try on and figure out my correct sizing, I would make use of the promo. But for now, it's a no go.

  2. I have two coupons I won't be using and thought I'd share. Fair warning- they can't be stacked and you need to use a J. Crew credit card.

  3. Question on the driving mocs! I bought my regular size and they feel a tad bit snug in the heel. Do they stretch? I'm worried a half size up will be too big...

    1. They seemed a big tight in the toe box on me. So I tried 1/2 size up but they gapped at the sides and looked sloppy. I stuck with regular size, and have worn them with no problems as they are quite soft. I did not walk a lot in them, but then they are not walking shoes.

    3. I have my regular size and they were also snug but I agree with p - they are very soft and seem to be stretching. I should probably wear them around the house with socks to help them.

re: comments above on final sale - not biting.

    4. My regular size is a bit snug too. I haven’t worn them outside yet but it’s good to hear they may stretch a little. I’ve been trying to wear socks with them inside as Anne suggested.
