Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Hey everyone. I placed a few orders that arrived a few days ago while I was on vacation. With the new fireworks promo everything is now 40% off. So I did what I normally do and emailed the order number and asked for price adjustments. I got a reply back that previously placed orders can’t have new promos applied. This is for full price items, not sale items. Anyone have this issue? This is absolutely assine if this is true - I can just reorder everything and the new lower price and cost the company so much money in shipping, etc. What a terrible way to treat loyal customers, or any customer for that matter.

    1. Yes, they started a new policy: We gladly honor a one-time price adjustment on full-price merchandise within seven days of the retail purchase or mail-order ship date if accompanied by the original receipt. Items not purchased at full price are ineligible for price adjustments.
If it was over a week you just have to reorder, unfortunately.

    2. It’s pretty confusing and such a drastic change. I had purchased a full price item without any promo which then had a promo on it before is shipped. I was told no adjustments unless the full price item gets marked on sale (ending in .99) within 7 days and then you’d get the sale price but no promo on the sale price. Ie 40% off couldn’t be deducted from the sale price. So the only possible way for a price adjustment now is if you buy full price without any promo then it gets marked to .99 within 7 days. At least that’s what I was told and I repeated it the CS rep to be clear.

  2. Does anyone have experience with the wide-leg crop chambray pant? H6691 in regular and H6692 in petite. I was surprised to find that I love the wide leg crop in 365 crepe. The style/cut seems the same for the chambray ones, but I am wondering if they fit differently due to fabric or perhaps where they are made. Final sale (ugh).

    1. I tried them last year when they came out. I didn’t like the way the fabric flowed in comparison to the crepe. I also had different experiences with the crepe colors, I felt they didn’t all fit the same, the black seemed to run a little skimpier on me. YMMV
