  1. Kaleidoscope floral halter is a really cute summer option. Fit is tts and the print is very pretty. Tried on with black skinny pants and shorts; both worked well, so I’m really happy with the versatility.

    1. I really like that print. I selfishly wish they did trouser shorts and or a bandana in addition to the other pieces.

    2. @Suz Has a bandana would be really cute in this print; there’s a tie waist short that @tomgirlprep tried on & looked really cute. It’s not a trouser short, but maybe worth a try,

    3. I have too many tie waist shorts already! I love them but do find the style a little limiting.

  2. Got the Sleeveless Embroidered Poplin Shirtdress (L7665), it’s beautifully made, great quality, definitely worth the price if you’re into the full skirted shirtdress silhouette. It can be dressed up for an afternoon wedding or down for brunch/work/date.

    1. Hi eeps, thank you for mentioning this dress, i ordered it but won’t receive it for a few days at least. Did you find it TTS? The only option available when I ordered it was sz 2, I’m normally sz 0 in Jcrew dresses but I really wanted to try this dress. Glad to hear that it’s done well!

    2. I found it TTS in the waist but big in the bust. I took my usual JC dress size and could have gone down one size but I would be uncomfortable in the waist if I had a big dinner. There’s some gaping at the armholes because it’s loose but not enough to put me off the great qualities of the dress.

    3. Thank you eeps! I have a feeling mine will be big then but hoping it still works! Enjoy the dress. 😊

    4. @jan - Yes I agree - think it will be big on you since you're already going up a size.

  3. Have not shopped at J Crew in a while due to the increase in synthetics but was pleasantly surprised with my recent purchase - straight-leg crop jean in white floral L4818 and the midi slip skirt in melon Item L7538. Both were a huge YAY - I've struck out with all J Crew crops (make me look ten pounds heavier and two inches shorter) but not these! These, in my petite size, fit like a glove and were not too tight in the thigh or momsy looking. Made me look like Kate Moss in the 90s - no joke. Same goes for the midi skirt - OK it is synthetic but it's cut so cleverly that it elongates me rather than shortens me (which is a big deal when you are 5-2). Just darling. To top it off, J Crew gave me a one-time courtesy price adjustment that brought these items down to ridiculously low prices. I am resisting the temptations to stalk for backups!

    1. I returned the slip skirt bc I didn’t like the feel of the poly but agree that it looks great and elongates the legs. I’m 5’1 and found the length somehow flattering. Wish it was silk though.
