Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. OT but the newly released polished Linen skirty short (only available in black) is showing up on sale with 40-50% off. I have a similar skort in Linen from a few springs ago and find them very versatile. I'm not sure if other newer releases are hidden in the sale section but these are not final sale.
They say dry clean, but I've hand washed myother Linen shorts and they seem ok.

    1. I have found a few hidden items too. They appear when you bookmark them but not if you search for the item. Odd.

    2. If you're ready for spring, I posted pics on my IG (peterst1). Enjoy!

  3. Will go to make online returns and pick up an order from Nordstrom. Did a closet audit and realized I don't have a long black cashmere cardigan 😳. 60% off so hoping it works.

  5. I stopped in today and bought a bracelet. I don't know the name, but it has heavy pave links, and then a set of tortoise links. It was on sale for $32 CAD after discount (50% off sale), and the regular price was $164 CAD. I'll probably remove the tortoise links as they look out of place to me, but I've wanted a pave link bracelet forever (or at least for the past few years).

    1. I got that one last year. It's heavy but beautiful. I like the constraint of the pave and the tortoise. You paid a great price.

    2. Constraint was an autocorrect. I think I meant combo.

    3. I just looked at all the jewelry in-store last week and didn't see this piece, so I think it must have been a Christmas return. I was pretty happy with the price!

    1. They haven't even sent them in recent orders. I don't mind, since I'd end up with too many. ;)

    8. thanks as well..

There is a new perfect t-shirt. they say sleeves are longer. I'll be okay with that I guess...but if they mess with the length...which is why I buy them...I will not buy them the 'new" one. C from Vancouver

  7. I ran by store since I hadn't been all week. Anyone remember the Woolrich buffalo plaid tree skirt??? Got one today at my store for $4.99. They said it had been in the stockroom for over a year. My tree skirt had been ruined by tree sap so I was happy. Such a nice quality item.

  8. There are some collection sweaters, cashmere, and net a porter sweaters back in stock, not showing up unless you put in the item number, not sure why they are not on the website.

  9. The collection midi in ratti acid rose is available in a few sizes, it's hidden for some reason. If it's not on your wish list you'll have to google it and go through that link. Typing in the style # doesn't work on the Jcrew site. When you put it in your cart it shows the sale price. HTH

    1. My size isn't available, but thanks for the info, it's such a pretty skirt! I don't think I even knew it existed until you posted about it once (I don't always look at Collection pieces.) My size isn't available, but that's OK as I'm trying to be strict with myself and stick to my boring ban. (Booo!) Hope other JCAs can take advantage!

    2. @TM93, I had liked that print from the F/W16 fashion show and then saw the skirt on Rynetta and loved it. Didn't think I'd be able to get it on sale so I was glad I was able to. That was before my shopping ban which I've broken once. Trying to be strong like you! :)

    3. I noticed this too. I was surprised to see sizes appear after I typed the description into google. Once again, I have to wonder about J.Crew's unique website. Why can't they fix these things?

    4. This has been especially annoying. Sale prices are great but it's hard to actually find what you're looking for.

    5. I don't understand how their website is still having problems, even some regular priced items are hidden.

  11. Yes, I have to go and return a very pretty, but very poorly fitting dress. They will give me my rewards back for the THIRD time.

This past week, a dress that I bought for $138 in late November (albeit with a $50 rewards card+gift card) was available in my size for $84. So, basically the same, but if I bought and re-reuturned, I'd eventually get $50 in rewards. But I would have had to return by January 12 - UGH. I didn't bother. I'm tired of rewards cards, stalking, returning and rebuying.

So, to stop myself, I bought four "final sale" tickets to Greece at a "great discount (really)" in September for myself and my family, disposing of my disposable income for quite some time and therefore I can't buy J.Crew until I've replenished my "fun" money. Which might not be for a while....

    1. What a great choice! I love Greece! Athens and the islands are amazing. There's so much history and lots to do. I have pics and details from my trip to the islands (Rhodes, Mykonos & Santorini) in August on my IG (peterst1). You'll have to scroll a bit. Hope you and your family have a wonderful trip!

  12. I'm super excited. I've always wanted to go to the Greek Islands but price and travel connections were never right. Right now because of the low euro, I found both and said WTH, let's do it. Bought some travel insurance just in case.

I'll try to check out your instagram - I'm not on it, so I'll have to figure it out. We are flying into Santorini, spending a night or two day, and then heading to a family friendly island for four days (I have two boys, ages 4 and 6) . Then we will fly back to Athens and head home.

Don't you wish all final sale purchases came with an insurance option?

    1. Oh, your itinerary sounds great! Yep, the Euro's decline has definitely made travel to Europe more affordable. I can remember 2011 when I was paying a 40% premium due to the exchange rate (ouch!). I've made a few FS purchases where I wish I had insurance; fortunately, I encountered super nice SAs who showed mercy 😍.
