J.Crew's April 2014 Catalog on Pinterest

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Susan (in this post), who let us know that there are several images from the April 2014 catalog on Pinterest. (Click here for J.Crew on Pinterest.) The catalog is already available in J.Crew stores. Plus, it is being shipped out to customers via snail mail.

Word among several JCAs is that the next roll out of new arrivals (online) is this Wednesday. Brick & mortar stores might already have items on the floor.

Honestly, I am sooooo over Winter. Looking at images of Spring / Spring clothing is a welcome retreat. ;)

What are your thoughts on the upcoming collection? Are there any pieces you are super excited about? Does your local store carry any of the new arrivals yet? If so, please share!

    1. Totally agree! Just upload at once instead of a little bit at a time. ;)

    2. I second (third) that. It was frustrating to see that they were only uploading about two images an hour. Seems like a really odd way to get customers excited enough to place advance orders. I was completely annoyed and stopped checking their page.

  2. OMG. They're only up to women's swim wear. Stop the insanity! I've had a gift card burning a hole in my gift card drawer since Christmas. This is the bananas, J. Crew. LOL.

The bikinis are super cute, but I just bougt two this weekend at Macys and Victoria's Secret. I love their swim wear.

I'm definitely going to buy two J. Crew beach hats - the big floppy ones. They look so chic!

    1. Seriously, JCAs have posted catalog pictures faster than J. Crew can do it themselves. I don't understand the hold-up. They've had their catalog for a lot longer than we have. They should have them ready to go and post them before we can, get fans interested/excited.

  3. Agreed! This does not 'gen up' excitement, it makes people feel irritated.

  4. Ha, for all that waiting, we're now up to...a brown v-neck sweater and the same fluted skirt that's been out for months.

  5. Silver Lining: HA HA HA!!! (The sad trombone is the best line!)

Seriously, I am shocked at how slow this sneak peek is being rolled out. I am updating the post with new photos but at this rate, I will just wait for the new stuff tomorrow morning. It will be faster and all at once. ;)

  6. Just went into B&M and picked up a pair of seersucker Campbells. They also have the new print (not sure of name) in - skirt is cute but not sure if I'm digging the fabric. They also had Soludos in store, but not online.

  7. I've gotten a few gray hairs waiting for the pictures to upload. One. at. a. time.

OT: I know someone's mentioned this already. Instyle's April issue, on page 83, features Sophia Webster for J.Crew shoes!!!!! I. die. In my Carrie Bradshaw voice, "Hello lover..."
Photographed is the T-strap I've had my eye on since I saw Jenna wearing it last September!...but at $650. ouch!
I also like the Rainbow Plaid, the style, just not the print. At least that's a little affordable @ $520 (not). I hope it comes in other material, and not just the plaid.

On the upside: Sophia Webster will collaborate again with J.Crew for their fall shoe collection!

  8. I'm hoping someone can offer information regarding the fit of the Andie shorts. I like the look, however in one of the photos, it looks like the photo was photoshopped to erase the pockets b/c the shorts are cut so straight. Yet in other photos, the pockets are as clear as day. My concern: I'm curvy. Pockets are not my BFF. Any review feedback to be offered would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
