J.Crew's New Factory Store in Hanover, MD: Opens Aug 26th and $25 off $125+ Coupon

A big "thanks!" to Eddie & Stretch's Momma who shared with us J.Crew's latest email not only announcing that the Hanover, MD factory store is opening on Tuesday, August 26th, but that they are also offering shoppers a coupon to save $25 off their purchase of $125+. This offer expires 9/9/08. Click here to print out the email (with a bar code) to shop at the Hanover store.

P.S. I own the pair of flats the model is sporting in that image!

  1. Great that they sent out another coupon for a Grand Opening...I got the same one when the Factory Store opened in Orlando this past May. I would still like to know why they didn't send out a coupon for the Tribeca Men's Store Grand Opening.

  2. FFM: I know what you mean about the Tribeca store! :) I wonder if that was a purposely done decision because that store is suppose to be more "high-end" in terms of stores.

  3. FFM: Turns out J.Crew did have something for the Tribeca store- they are offering $25 off $150+. They sent out a postcard. There is an image of it here. Unfortunately, the bar code was removed so no one can use it.

  4. alexis: I'm glad to hear they at least sent out something...who received the postcard? Was it only customers living in New York?

  5. FFM: I am not sure who was targeted for those postcards, but I think your assumption (those in NYC) makes the most sense.

  6. Alexis: I think it would have been a good idea to have sent it to customers in the neighboring states as well. I think it could bring in even more customers that way...people interested to see the store would have extra incentive to come in before September 4th, and it could give the store a good start. :)

  7. FFM: I couldn't agree with you more! :) I think customers living in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island could have been good segments to target those postcards too.

  8. It seems like the men's store really isn't really out to attract customers the way a "normal" B& M store does. I get the feeling that the Tribeca store is more like a venue that is there to showcase/explain what J. Crew men's style is. I haven't been there (yet), but judging from the photos and review, the area doesn't look like it was designed for heavy foot traffic. I'm sure it is the kind of place where one can't find a lot of sales or bargains, either. I couldn't imagine doing a complicated return or price adjustment in a place like that! That's OK with me, though. It looks visually STUNNING. I am ALWAYS a sucker for the way J. Crew promotes their lifestyle, especially through the catalogs.
