This is the weekly "Other JCrew-like Retailers" post (similar to the "Off On A Tangent"
posts), where we can share our finds from other
retailers that have offerings similar to J.Crew
(like Anthropologie, LE Canvas, Gap, BR, Talbots, Ann
Taylor, and the like.)
If you
have recently encountered items that are similar to
J.Crew, maybe you might be
willing to share that information with us
in this post.
Please feel
free to share your story on almost any topic—
including experiences with certain merchandise pieces,
promotions/ offers, in-store visits,
transactions with store associates, etc.

ReplyDeletethe recent release includes a $100 set of crystals. TJ’s to the rescue!
DeleteCovid crystals to go with the covid clothes.
DeleteCrystal jewelry, jeweled shoes, belts and everything else under the sun. Jcrew at one time had all of the above at one time and their items were beautiful. Pull those vintage jeweled flats and clothing out of your closets ladies.
DeleteI've picked up a few lambswool sweaters from Uniqlo this Fall that are really nice. Nice 100% wool, tiny bit oversized fit on the women's crewneck but not bad. The lambswool v neck cardigan is in the men's section ($40) but it's really a unisex item, they show it modeled on men and women. It's great for me being tall, the sleeves are long enough and it's very warm. Grosgrain lined placket, nice buttons and not itchy (to me). I got a few colors.
ReplyDeleteJC Factory has new arrivals up today. I see a few things I like. It’s a festive rollout & more like classic J Crew IMO. Really like the fair isle pullover sweater & it is all cotton - hooray!
ReplyDeleteI’ve ordered more from Factory lately than JCrew. If you read descriptions, you can find some 100% cotton gems.
DeleteI've been looking more at Halsbrook lately. They have some nice classic things. Talbots has some very cheerful colors, but the fabrics aren't great.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone here looked at Frances Valentine? I find their site to be sort of amusing and uplifting. I can't wear their clothes because they are all too large, but I have been pleased with some of the shoes.
Shopped at Gilt for the first time for an at home hoodie....and I kind of regret it. Definitely won't be worn outside. It's loose and oversized . It was a small size.
