so i got CS to reorder those slim boyfriend jeans in white in one size smaller for me at the super sale price. the smaller size is totally the right call... slim but not tight... straight leg but i don't feel like they're going to totally fall off me. i think they might stretch a little during the day but i feel more comfortable with the smaller size :)
ReplyDeleteMiss JR, I ordered two sizes and definitely am sticking with the smaller size. Like you said, they are not skin tight but not boyfriend baggy, either. They were such a steal and not see through!!!
ReplyDeleteI sized up on the jeans for my daughter and she could not get them passed her calves.... very disappointed 16yrs old.... i am not sure if to reorder....,

I’m finally going to the store to try on my ship to store orders which includes those white jeans in multiple sizes and lengths. I have a love/hate relationship with white denim (love them on everyone else/hate them on myself) but I couldn’t resist trying them at such a great price. Will report back. I tend to prefer slouchier jeans so we shall see if I agree with above!

DeleteWhite denim (slim boyfriend): I ordered my size and a size up in regular and tall lengths. My regular size is perfect. A little slouchy but not too much. I’m sure they’ll give a little.
high rise denim shortnin Brixton wash: not totally sure. They look good but maybe a little young. I had to size down in these.
Parke blazer in seersucker. I’m usually a 2 or 4 but liked the slightly looser 4. I’ll probably wear this with my usual slouchy jeans and sandals.
Everyday tote in stars: the red is much darker than it appears but I love all these totes so I bought multiples and can use them even to hold holiday gifts for my girls.
Double strap suede slide with pearls: I took the smaller of my two sizes and the fit is perfect but I feel like They’re dressier than I need with jeans and I don’t like how they look with shorts or short skirts. I have the snakeskin ones from last year so I knew this but figured I’d give them a shot. Returned. Might consider on super sale.
Leopard Cora sandals. I like these much more than the white ones. My larger size fits perfectly.
Point sur seaside pant in linen, loden green. I’ve really been into this color lately and wasn’t sure if this or the gray would be better but I do like this color better with black. These are perfect with a little tank and I’ll probably wear them like pajama pants. They looked cute with the leopard Coras.

Deleteone of my orders has been held up in customs for quite some time. seems alot of orders had this happen according to CS...was in when July 1 Canada decide to retaliate with duties/??? anyone else waiting for orders to Canada?

DeleteMy orders from Factory arrive quicker than from JCrew. Close to two weeks from order date to being delivered. Too long in my opinion.
DeleteI ordered something almost 3 weeks ago. It showed as shipped the next day, but then UPS tracking shows nothing else. J Crew says that an entire shipment of orders to Canada has been delayed and my package is in this shipment. The odd thing is that I placed other orders on the same day (free shipping - hangs head in shame) and they've all come in other than this one. It's not J Crew's fault, but it is frustrating (in a first world kind of way)...
