Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. My cart has typical items in it, black mini, white tee, black button down...I'm trying to stop myself because master bedroom closet space the new house is much smaller than the old house where I didn't even use my furniture for clothes, I had everything in my closets. We do have a master BR sitting room and I could easily store clothes in there, build another closet, etc...but I realize I'm trying to simplify my life, and maybe I don't need another black mini after all. Sigh...

I've been living in my solid and camo foundry pants. Even though they're heavy canvas, sizing up made them super comfy to wear with a tank even In hot weather, but to switch it up, Last night for the first time this season I wore my Regent pants in linen. The fit on these is fabulous. I almost wish I got them in other colors. 😂

  2. We stopped by this weekend. I had a return and hubby is in the market to update his jeans (which he wears to work everyday). I returned the slim shirt in Sarah floral because the chest was too small but body just right, so sizing up didn’t make sense. And I already have the Jackie, so that’s probably enough. Hubby wasn’t a fan of the jeans but the men’s section was quite small without a lot of options. He hates spending money on clothes so ideally looking for jeans around $60/pair. Maybe Banana republic?

After Ina’s wonderful preview, I’m dying for the next rollout. I have birthday money burning a hole in my pocket and I would love a bunch of pencil skirts in fabulous colors. And wool coatigans! And hopefully some pretty flats too.

  3. I haven’t visited the store in many weeks, but I’m happy with the 2 sale items I received in the mail on Friday. I picked up a pop back of the vintage crop jeans in Morton wash with step-hem in tall for only $15. I’m not a fan of cropped jeans, but the tall sizes are ankle length on me. I also picked up a pop back of last year’s camp shorts. I had to size up, but they still fit fine. They remind me of my LL Bean utility shorts.

I also received my Amazon Prime shoes and boots orders on Friday. I’m very happy with all four pairs: 2 pairs of Dr. Martens Flora ankle boots in black and cherry red , Frye Natalie double zip ankle boots in black and Frye Carson ballet flats in black. The ballet flats had some very slight scrapes on the bottom from being tried on. Amazon cs refunded me $26 for this small defect, lowering the price I paid to only $32. I paid just over $200 total for all 4 pairs. A steal!
