First-time poster but long-time reader. For those looking for stylish yet practical summer dresses, Zara has an impressive selection of cotton and cotton-elastane shirt dresses. I'm not sure how they'll hold up to wash and wear, but the fabric ranges from lightweight-but-not-flimsy to substantial, and as someone who is 5'9" I appreciate the range of lengths available.
ReplyDeleteI'm eyeing lots of stuff in the new Boden catalogue that arrived on Monday. There are some nice tweed pencil skirts and nice selection of pants.
ReplyDeleteI got the "Soft Jersey Crew" t-shirt from BR the other day. It is very soft and a I would label it as a sweater. Price was 40% off $34. I took my usual size and am keeping an eye out for more colors.
Ditto on the new Boden catalog. I too noticed the nice tweed pencil skirts for fall (for anyone considering ordering, my experience is to order one size up from your J Crew size in Boden pencil skirts), and thought the catalog was full of color, some nicely cut tops, and feminine silhouettes. Some cute heels as well.
DeleteAny thoughts on Everlane these days? I liked their offerings a lot a few years ago -- especially their cashmere and 100% wool sweaters. I've not been as interested in their more recent offerings, especially the boxy silhouettes. Wondering if they've maintained their commitment to quality that first drew me in.
