Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  2. I went in just to return a few things...the only things I wanted to try from last rollout. The utility dress was a total fail on me as it ran small and short, and was really hard to get on and off as the fabric had no give and the buttons don't run the full length of the garment. The star jumpsuit was cute but too skimpy on top to wear a bra.

Also, lots of items from the new rollout are already in sale section plus an extra 40% off...including the new iteration of the tulle skirts. Sad.

  3. I went to return my Factory sweater-jacket with the mismatched shoulders and was able to get one in store with even shoulders. Also tried on the pink patterned schoolboy blazer in a size up and confirmed my suspicions; the shoulders fit but it was too big/boxy everywhere else (not to mention still too short). So one yay, one boo/hiss. ; )

    1. Same try-on experience w the pink patterned Schoolboy, and I was bummed because it is so darn cute. Shoulders/upper arms too tight in my regular 4, 6 was too wide in the body, and both way short. The fit and length seem very different from last year's version.

    2. Hi Ruffles - I felt like I was trying to will it to fit! Even if the body could be tailored you can't add length to it. : (

  4. I ran in to the retail store for a few minutes but didn't have time to try anything. Sale section is much smaller than my last trip and clearance was extra 50% off.
