Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  2. There were online cuts last week. They're noted at the top of the Sale Irl Pic Guide.

  3. I didn't get to the store, but had some boxes delivered. ;) I just posted reviews of both of the Collection tweed topcoats here. They are still popping back and are really reasonably priced with the extra 40% discount!

  4. I went to the Legacy Place store in Dedham, MA yesterday but didn't see anything I had to have. The sale section was tiny, tiny. I did check in on the sale online today and snagged the leather jodhpur pixies that have been full price forever for $119+40% off!! I am so happy!

  6. FYI, the Large Sunflower Necklace (A5905), in addition to the colors on the website, was also offered in a sheer lavender-like color (it was different from the sheer pink online).

    1. I bought them but haven't worn them (or washed them) yet. I think they are probably TTS but I went up a size because I didn't want them fitted. And also because I've had J. Crew sweatpants shrink before. These seem to be made out of a different material than my past J. Crew sweatpants so I am hopeful that they won't shrink. I'd like to hear from someone who has washed them before I wash mine. I don't know if I can put them in the dryer.

    2. I bought them about a week and a half ago, our store had new things out already. I have worn them. Very fitted. Didn't seem to stretch out with wear (as my other JC sweats have done). Very nice fabric that stays. Can put phone in my back pocket and doesn't fall out. Very comfortable. Wore them a full day. I did wash mine but I hung them to dry, as I didn't want them to shrink. They dried well. The washing instructions said "tumble dry low".

    3. Can anyone comment on if they run TTS or run small? They were one of the few items I really liked from this most recent rollout.

    4. My regular size was very fitted. They probably do run TTS but are a slim fit.

  8. Shopped at the King of Prussia store on Saturday. Sale section was really picked over but I was able to score the Martina wedges in the metallic blush (which is more gold than blush and even confused the sales guy lol) for $99.99 plus 50% (still $189.99 online?!?!) and the crinkle boy shirt in the blackwatch plaid for $49.99 marked down 50%. All in all some great deals!!!

  9. Stopped by the Chevy Chase, Md., store on Saturday. Sale section extremely small and largely picked clean; only a few dresses and pairs of pants left, along with some jewelry that was missing pieces (bracelets missing some stones, that kind of thing). Also lots of new items on display, but nothing that I didn't see on the website rollout already.

  10. Anyone else have this issue this weekend? I found a marked-down item in the tiny sale section. The SA, after conferring with manager, informed me that it was NOT part of the "final sale" since it wasn’t shipped out with the other winter items and that the cost was as marked. No additional % off even though the website said "online and in stores". Also didn't get a price adjustment even though the item online was $10.00 less. HOWEVER, because of this, the item was not considered final sale, it was not marked that way on the receipt, and I was told it was returnable. This was really weird.

    2. Is it availability different on the canadian site? I didn't think so.....I just checked again this morning and it says "this item is so popular it has sold out" again today.

    3. Are we talking about two different items? The hooded basketweave jacket (item 09619). It is available in all sizes as of 8:50 a.m. I am looking at it right now.

    4. That's the one. It is showing sizes now. All I can tell you is that the times I looked before bed and in the am, it was showing the above message. No idea why. It didn't seem right for such a new arrival Should have phoned them at the time. Made no sense foe such a new arrival.

    5. Ok - so I was starting to feel a little crazy regarding this jacket as I went to purchase it after I posted above and - guess what - sold out again! What the...?? So I got on the phone with Jcrew and asked what the...?! Anyways, he said yes it is definitely sold out completely. I mentioned the back and forth I was seeing with it reappearing and then being 'sold out' and he agreed it was weird but his system was telling him for sure all sizes are totally sold out. He said it will likely be back though soon as it is a spring new item. Let's hope it is back long enough for the two minutes I will need to log in and buy the thing - lol.
