    1. Same thing happened to me...I received my reward card after the big sale.

  2. I ordered the Rylan blazer on Saturday and received a call and an email yesterday cancelling my order. I checked the website this morning, Wednesday, and it's back in stock. I would reorder, but it's twice as much now that the sale-on-sale promotion has ended. Lame.

    1. LizPOC. This happened to me and I called CS they looked up my cancelled order and allowed me to order at the discounted price. Good luck.

    2. Call CS and tell them the sad story. Give the (cancelled) order number. There have been reports of price matching on this very blog. Nothing to lose, right?

  4. I have my rewards, but where oh where are the new arrivals? I do not do final sale. I just know I would get the short end of the stick. Plus, I'm over all of the leftovers. Give me something new!!!

  8. Orders canceled, WWFIFY that comes back half an hour later as not in stock, hummingbird skirt sold out and CS can't give me measurements. J. Crew, I think you are trying to tell me to stop shopping with you!

    1. I had a similar experience Anthro Blogger. I placed an order during the 50% off promo this weekend (with a quantity showing over 9 items available) and a few hours later got a cancellation. Although I know they don't normally do WWFIFY for sale items, I know they did so one other time when I had a similar issue. I called CS and made the request and the Rep looked in the system and assured me that the item was sold out everywhere in the size I had wanted and one size up. That day I personally called around and found one and then it popped back up in one size larger online the next day. Normally, I love J.Crew's CS, but I find it very annoying that their online systems never seem to match their real inventory. Seems like they need a better system.

  9. Was saving my rewards card for the next rollout, but if the new arrivals I saw in store are any indication, then I may have made a mistake, as there was nothing there that I was interested in. I hope maybe everything hasn't come in yet, but we'll see.

  11. Ugh. Placed a Jcrew Baby order as a gift, and one of the items came back as cancelled. SO annoying. J.Crew why can't you update your stupid website to reflect stock availability? It's 2014, you claim to have 24/7 customer service, is it really that hard to post some updates to your site when things are sold out? It's just incredibly frustrating to buy something that says in "stock", get an email confirming your order and 2 days later it's suddenly cancelled? SUPER mad about this, especially since this was meant to be a timely gift for someone's newborn.

    1. drg - If I were running things at J Crew, I'd invest in real-time logistics. I don't know how much the cost is. However, oer time it has to outweigh the cost of personnel sitting on the phone doing checks at stores that show 1 quantity, and personnel calling and sending emails about canx orders.

    2. Thanks for the reply gigi. I totally agree, there needs to be a real-time logistics. I think it would make shopping at J.crew a much nicer experience. Well just called CS to see what they could do about the cancelled item. The CS lady was super nice on the phone. The problem is I already ordered a pair of baby leggings, and that order has been released. I asked CS to find another top that matched in that same price range and seriously EVERYTHING was sold out! I think she checked 4 different tops and even offered to price adjust a more expensive top as a consolation. Eventually found a matching onesie, but there's no way she can add this onesie to my previous gift order, and she can't cancel it either. So either my cousin gets 2 awkward gift packages, or just a smaller package with only a couple of items in it. I find it odd that when I specifically marked an order as a "gift" with wrapping and a message they would release and pack it as an incomplete order. Oh and she offered to give me one day shipping. I mean its nice and all but it just ruins the perfect gift I was going to get. I'm grateful the CS lady tried to help. I know at the end of the day its just clothes...but its still frustrating. Especially because I *still* LOVE all their baby clothing. They should have put up a message on the baby portion of the website stating that they only have limited inventory. Oh J.Crew why do you do this to us??? Offer beautiful clothing but impossible to find :/
