  1. One after another, my recent experiences with phone CS have been terrific - helpful, friendly, result-oriented. I've had some shipping mix-ups and mistakes lately, haven't we all, and they've been FIXED! FAST! And I should mention that at least one mistake was my own fault for shopping with my eyes stuck shut from the makeup I didn't take off before collapsing into bed. So, thanks to all of you.

  2. Like wellfedfred, my comment is customer service related too. My local store has amazing customer service. My VPS and the others who help me there are always so nice and such a big help.

  4. I am loving the new stuff at Factory. I was coming down off my Factory high over the past month or so, but after going to a store this week, I am feeling "the love" again. Everything in the store appeared to be 40 or 50% off (I heard an SA tell another customer that nothing in the store was full price). The customer service was super friendly and attentive. I loved and purchased:

*ivory tipped linen "schoolboy" (true to size)

*Optic dot dress (see Gigi's review dresshttp://www.gigisgoneshopping.com/2014/02/j-crew-factory-optic-dot-dress-review.html LOVE this dress. I would say TTS, although as Gigi notes a bit looser than the retail version. I actually like the looser more "A line-ish" fit of this shift dress. If you have small arms and shoulders you could size down if you want a more fitted look

*Scroll print skirt in the sale section that was around $27 after discounts-LOVE this as well. It's not lined but I am fine with that. The length seemed longer than other Factory pencil skirts, but not sure if it actually is

*Factory skimmer pant in multi stripe. The fabric is so thick and feels very high quality. Somehow the horizontal stripes are flattering on me (I do have a "straightish" figure though and more slender lower half, but still, horizontal stripes on the thighs could potentially be dee-zas-ter-ous). The pattern of the horizontal stripe looks like the product shot photo, not the model wearing them. I actually intentionally sized up in these. I wanted a looser fit with the stripes.

*Crystal spiral necklace. Loves this. The SA was wearing it and liked it so I decided to grab it while checking out.

Also saw and really liked the Factory version of the Downtown Field jacket, a few suiting like dresses that I haven't seen on line. The chambray "schoolboy" looked nice and I would have tired it it but I have a retail version already.

    1. Factory always looks so much better in the store than on the web site! I agree they have some great things right now. They might do spring better than J. Crew retail does.

    2. Cate, yes! ITA. Everything in the store looked so fresh and crisp for Spring. It probably helped that I went in the middle of a week day and there were like two people in the store so everything was nice and tidy (which is a rare treat for me since I work FT).

  5. I love the new Factory stretch pencil skirt in hummingbird print. It's unlined, so it's definitely a summer piece, but the print is lovely and it's much more practical than the retail version. It's even machine washable!

  7. I don't know how much longer this free shipping is going to go on, but it's been great!
