Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Sneak Peek: Madewell's Fall 2012 Collection

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Alice, who let us know that Madewell's Fall 2012 Collection is available to preview over at Madewell (click here to check out all 33 looks!)

Even though there are hints of J.Crew-esque items here and there, Madewell is definitely its own brand. First, I love the Flowersketch Peplum Top (in Look 24). Definitely can't wait for that piece! Second, what is up with Woolly Stripe Sweatshirt (in Look 27)?! It totally looks like a sweater Dr. Huxtable wore on the Cosby Show.

J.Crew Final Sale {nice update}

J.Crew has a nice update to their Final Sale section online (click here) this morning. Lots of merchandise for everyone (1200+ for Women and 400+ for Men). Moreover, it looks like several new pieces made it to sale along with some new price reductions. Yey!

Even though MUSTHAVE ended earlier this week, it sounds like brick & mortar (B&M) stores are still running an additional 30% off their Final Sale. Yey for that too! :)

J.Crew Store Location Series {Los Angeles}

A big "thanks!" to GigiOfCa {of the delightful Gigi's Gone Shopping blog} who came up with a brilliant suggestion for a series of post: a city guide where JCAs can suggest which J.Crews to shop at.

This post will focus on Los Angeles, California! With so many stores in the area, it might be too much to visit them all. So if you are a local, or a knowledgeable tourist, please share what stores a fellow JCA has to visit!

Feel free to share other tidbits of advice. For example... What are your top three spots? Are there certain stores that should be avoided at certain times of the day/ week? Are there stores that have a better selection than others? Which stores have the best sale offerings?

Which J.Crew brick & mortar (B&M) stores in L.A. should an out-of-towner shop at? Which stores should be avoided? Please share! :)

New J.Crew Necklaces {green wtih envy!}

A big "thanks!" to Marietta, who shared with us a few jewelry pictures from her visit to J.Crew.

The first image features the Bubble necklace (item 92687; $150.00) in Grass Green. {swoon} This shade is not yet available online.

The second image features a flower and pearl statement necklace. {Simply gorgeous!} Could not find this one online either.

Both these pieces are stunning! I have to admit something, I already own plenty of bubble necklaces from J.Crew. I am worried that if I see the green in-person, I will get that one too! ;)
